I guess you have to ask yourself how you would feel if your boyfriend was having cybersex with another woman? Would it bother you? And as mentioned above, it all depends if both of your significant others are OK with it.
AMarie
i am interested in people's opinions on this.... is or is not cybersex cheating?

if it is possible can you post why you were disfellowshipped?
Ooops:
Disregard my last comment, my little pooky wooky. I thought you were refering to me when you said I gave apostates a bad name.
if it is possible can you post why you were disfellowshipped?
Ahhhh....
YoYo, telling me how much you love me makes me feel all warm and mushy inside. By the way, thank you for the honesty. It gives me a better idea of what your motives are.
AMarie
Maybe me giving apostates a bad name counteracts the bad name that you give the JWs. Don't ya think?

I'm here because I'm in love with you."
Ha Ha, very cute YoYo.
I asked the question out of all sincerity, not to be a bitch. My thoughts are that you would be here for one of three reasons:
1. You are a JW who sincerely believes what they are taught and want "Apostates" to turn back from their evil ways before it's too late.
2. You are a hateful, nasty person who can't tolerate people with beliefs different than your own (which if that's the case, good luck in life buddy).
3. Or, as most people have said, you have serious doubts about your faith and hearing the truth about the JWs and their teachings hits a nerve.
I was just curious as to where you are coming from, that is all.
I think your smart ass response instead of an honest answer tells me all I need to know. And by the way, go ahead and put me on your list of people to avoid. Having a piece of shit like you ignore me would make my day. But don't worry, once you finally ackowledge that you belong to a crappy-ass religion and find the courage to join the "apostates", maybe then we can date...kiss, kiss, YYMM.

or...
do I trust my loving brothers and sisters that I have grown up around and have tought me Bible truths and have helped me have a relationship with my creater?"
If that is so, then why are you here?

You can't possibly mean that. I'm sure you've figured out by now that the majority here are against what the JWs teach, if not disfellowshipped. The bible tells you not to "eat with, or even greet a brother who has walked away", doesn't it? It seems to me you are just putting yourself in "harms way", so to speak. I have a hard time believing anybody is that ignorant.
Or else you were just saying that to be hateful.
i frequently read on this board that somebody has 'been a jw for over 25 years' and then learn that they are in fact 25 years and three days old.. i am very easily confused, in fact i actually got inside a car of similar color to my own recently and spent at least five minutes with a furrowed brow trying to force my car key into its ignition, fortunately, i realised my error before i was arrested.
so, just to humor me, can you all post how long you were/are baptised jw's?.
thank you -- hs.
My Mother was baptized when I was three and thus began raising us JW's. I was baptized 10/2/92 at the age of thirteen and was DF'd on 12/29/99 after being inactive for two years.

2 however, there also came to be false prophets among the people, as there will also be false teachers among you.
these very ones will quietly bring in destructive sects and will disown even the owner that bought them, bringing speedy destruction upon themselves.
YoYo:
I'm not going to say that we all live moral lives here. I know that many do things that are not right in the eyes of god. However, who am I to judge them? That is exclusively god's job. He knows their true heart condition and will judge them the way He sees fit. It is not YOUR job to come here and point the finger.
I do think that the majority of the posters here have built wonderful lives for themselves outside of the WTS. I am one of them. I am a Christian with an excellent relationship with god. I speak with him everyday. Also, since I left the WTS, my attitude about life and towards other people has changed dramatically. I have never been so happy and well-balanced.
I think you are a kind, well-meaning person, YoYo, who is trying very hard to do what god wants of you. Please don't be offended by my sometimes harsh words. I just strongly disagree with you.
I remember my 20 years with the JWs as being the saddest, most miserable time of my life....and it wasn't because of my pride. It was because of the small box my mind was in, so to speak.
AMarie
just for fun, i thought we could post what celebrities people may have told us we look like.
i know, i know, it's all fluff baby!
i'll be the first one to say it....i'm mainly a fluff poster.
Andi (Billygoat):
You are such a knock-out. I absolutely love the top picture where you have the short, spikey hair. Very pretty.

Oh yeah, by the way. Now that we've left the JW cult, we have more of a relationship with god and have received many, many blessings.
