Wow Sirona, I would like to cultivate that ability as well. Are you doing anything specific, or just making a note of who you think about and when.... like do you jot down what your impressions are, what your physical reactions were to the impression (sometimes I feel things in my body when I get impressions about people). Please tell me how you are working with these dormant abilities to awaken them.

I guess my story isn't so much syncronisity... maybe a self-fulfilling prophecy? Anyway, from the time I was a child, I've know the names, sexes and birth order of my children. I've always known that I would have two children, so when my son was born and I was writing in his baby book, I told him. You will someday have a sister and her name will be Ambrosia. Well, several years later (during my tweek phase) I fell head over heels madly in love with a man I had only seen in my dreams. I discovered he was someone in my "circle of friends", friend of a friend to be precise. I had been studying my natal chart to determine who my perfect mate would be and had already ascertained that I would be most compatible with a Libran male. Of course, I wasn't surprised to learn that the man in my dreams was a Libran... I'm pretty used to that kind of thing. The thing that really stumped me, though, was before he was even my boyfriend or anything, I asked him one evening "If you had a daughter, what would you name her?" To my shock he said "Ambrosia" without a moment of hesitation. Of course, my daughter was conceived just a few short months later!

Astrology is sooo fascinating... there's geo-centric as well as helio-centric astrology.... the really fascinating thing about that is even though the two types seem opposite and contradictory, they are truly harmonious when integrated into a rectified natal chart. I've never done this personally, but I've "perceived the harmony between my own geo-centric chart and helio-centric chart.... WOW! It'll rock your world (especially if you're high and have been up for 10 days or so!) to spend several hours meditating on the cosmic influence of tHe He avens on our's elves! Not to mention our's God's elves... etc. Anyway, I'm sure this seems non-sensical to some, to others it's speaking.
Please don't judge astrology by the horoscopes in the newspapers. Oh, and by the way, every Virgo I've ever met (so far) has said that their horoscopes NEVER are accurate; yet they can't see the their saying (/be lie ving) that, they are proving the accuracy of their "sign"'s description. It's cute, really.
My virgo sister (also an ex-JW dissociated her's elf) is begining to see past her prejudices to astroglogy in that she recognizes the influences of other "signs" (primarily gemini [also my dad's & my first husband's sign] and how they affect her life and path...I'm very proud of her for being able to have "faith" (sometimes hard for earth signs as well as air signs) in "the outworkings of her affairs" and use the cosmic influences at her disposal as a guide to her past, present and future evolutions.
Anyway, enough ramblings for now... this thread is in it's infancy. Thanks for posting it Sunnygal!

A REALLY hard dub question.

Ok, this may be a stretch, but just as they have no authority to say whether or not a person can have a breast augmentation, tubal ligation, vascectomy, etc, there would be no reason that anyone in the borg should be able to say anything about what anybody has in their pants!! Carrying on in sin? How? As long as they aren't doing anything to get themselves disfellowshipped, where's the sin? People who enter the organization with tattoos aren't "carrying on in sin". I guess either it doesn't make sense or I don't get it. There should not be any "action" taken against a person that has had a sex-change prior to becoming a witness any more than they would take action against a person having had any of the other procedures that I've mentioned performed. Right?

If the person had a sex-change before becoming a witness, how would anyone even know that the person has not always been the same sex? I don't see how that's anyone's business... the person should be treated just as any other sister or brother in the congregation. If anyone did find out, it's my understanding that anything that has happened prior to being a witness is irrelevant; nobody cares.

Hi Celty... I'll get that e-mail done one of these days.
Anyone know Celty's favorite desert? I agree with all of you; I don't see any reason to tell her that I was in any way affiliated with the witnesses; it would be much too akward for everyone in the office.

I just found out that the woman in the cube next to me is a witness. I came in from my break and she was reading a Watchtower! I said "Are you a witness?" She just looked at me and said "Yes". Not "Why do you ask?", or "Are you familiar with the witnesses?" (I used to ask all of those questions.) I didn't tell her that I'm d/f'd, or that I spend lots of time on an apostate discussion forum in the cube right next to her... I figure what she doesn't know won't hurt her, but I guess it could hurt her and her children. Anyway, what a "small world".

Puter...I'm glad you asked! I wanted to post something several days ago in response to something I saw here that said someday our planet will "die" as will our sun, etc. Well, I disagree. We have to power to affect our environment more than we know. We have the ability to heal our planet (you already know of the human body's awesome ability to heal itself) and every living being on it. Naturally, one person can't do this on their own, but we aren't alone. There are legions of angels taking an interest in our planet; as well as our creator. There are also many humans here on earth that are progressively becoming enlightened to their abilities to affect their environment. Positive thinking is one of the biggest tools we have to impact our lives (as well as the lives of others). It's kinda like this... a child can have many, many fabulous qualities; but if they are never recognized, the full potential is often never realized. It's kinda like that with our planet... we all seem to just notice the bad stuff... the more we pay attention to the good stuff, the more the focus will shift... soon the badness will just fade into darkness, and eventually disappear alltogether. The scripture that says that wickedness will be no more doesn't necessarily mean that life as we know it has to cease to exist... there will just be a gradual shift to higher states of conciousness. A greater sense of personal responsability. Those who stubbornly cling to their mental programing will simply die (just as they're programed to believe) having not benefited from the life a person can enjoy with a positive mental, emotional and spiritual viewpoint. We all are responsable for our own lives... we just have to choose peace, love and happiness, or hatred, anger, disappointment, death, etc. It's a very simple personal choice. What will you put your faith in? Life, success, divine guidance, or Death, misery and nothing in the end. We all have a life to live; and we all have the free will to choose how we will live, what we will believe in and how we will use our (unlimited) resources.

Oh, this is fabulously exhilerating! I've been anticipating this ever since I first read about it in 1996; but I thought I was supposed to have happened in Earth Time 2002. I'm disappointed w/ myself for not paying closer attention and not giving this Divine Cosmic Event the recognition and respect (not to mention the phenomenal energies at work) it deserved. I'm so happy that you put this here to read; I have, however been experiencing that "divine discontent" that always preceeds times of trememdous spiritual growth for me; and I have begun to "see" some of the spiritual evolutions that are taking place for myself and those around me. I began noticing these subtle whispers around the time that I became aware that there were 5 plantes visible in the sky... again, though, I neglected to research what their influence would be and didn't take full advantage of the event! One of these days I'll "get it together" enough to fully reap the benefits of these glorious Divine events.
