I guess BB is right in the above. The elders and other members of the congregation took these words too literally
and now they have to be explained to that there's another meaning to these words.

What are the requirements of being a disciple of Jesus Christ? Of the above listed criterias, which are needed to gain people to the congregation of JAH? Is it not Jehovah's congregation? People put way too much emphasis on the requirements of man, rather than God's. All you need is a bible, and a person to listen to your teachings. yes, again... after reading numerous posts on this site and doing some research on my own, i have a strong feeling that my whole belief will soon stand or fall with the understanding of 'this generation'.. matthew 24:3 .."tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?".
matthew 24:7 for nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another.. matthew 24:34 truly i say to you that this generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur.. .
