I have The Sims delux on PC, which is strangely addictive!
I love the Legend of Zelda games but have only played Ocarina of Time & Majoras Mask on the Nintendo 64. I have yet to experience the Gamecube version which I have heard is awesome.
I also have a Gameboy which I have just for the Zelda games, but I haven't played in ages.
I tend to go through phases of either playing loads or not at all, no happy medium!

i have family that are jw's and in my late teens i began bible studies.
i came close to baptism but was too scared about what i thought i would be giving up if i took that path.

I have read what you have all said very carefully, I am so glad that I posted here before making any drastic decisions or talking to my JW family. It is great to have a different perspective on the JW religion, I have friends and family that think the whole religion is a joke but have not actually been involved themselves - it is an eye opener to hear stories of people who have actually been there.
The congregation that I was involved with was full of young people and there was quite a good social network, I enjoyed my time there and still remember some of the people very fondly. I think maybe this is making me see the whole religion through rose tinted glasses, I remember the feeling of fitting in and being surrounded by people who genuinely seemed to care about me, I guess I need to look at the bigger picture!
So...the first thing I am going to do is read 'Crisis of Conscience' and check out some of the websites that you have recommended, thanks for encouraging me to research before making decisions and providing links to the info.
I plan to stick around and look forward to getting to know you all a bit better.

Hi, just wanted to introduce myself, I am 28 and from London and I am looking for some opinions. I have family that are JW's and in my late teens I began bible studies. I came close to baptism but was too scared about what I thought I would be giving up if I took that path. 10 years on and I have started wondering about the decision I made and whether it was the right one. I suppose the obvious choice would be to talk to my family about how I am feeling but I am scared to get their hopes up unnecessarily - they would be delighted if I returned to the truth (is it still called that?!) I see the world today and it just all seems so hopeless, there really doesn't seem to be an obvious solution to the increasing problems and, well, it just gets me thinking about the JW way of life.
I have lots of feelings & thoughts about this at the moment and there are complications that I feel prevent me from returning to the truth, I don't want to type them all up here as I may come across as neurotic and self obsessed!!
This seems like a friendly place and any thoughts or opinions on this would be welcome.
