I have confidence in Barbara, so I won't be disappointed. I'm not going to sit and try to guess what it is. Its' probably something that was in front of our noses all along and we never noticed it. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that the international bankers have been financing the org. since the begining.

The Grasshopper 'IN' The Shoe Box

this fisherman (dave)picked up a newly fisherman (paul)in his community one early morning, and on route to their destination, which was some distance, paul noticed a shoe box on the front seat.
he also heard lots of noises in the shoe box.

AK-Jeff, playing golf does wonders, especially after you've played it awhile. There's plenty of similarities to life. People who don't play the game can't relate to the similarities.
I've known certain golfers who jinx themselves. They would love to shoot a particular score but can't. There was this one golfer who always wanted to break 80, one day while playing, he forgot all about his score and just played the game. Well, when the game was over and he tabulated his strokes, it was 79! He surprised himself. We can prevent ourselves from moving ahead by thinking to much or by putting pressure on ourselves. There are other reasons but the end result is the same.

Nate, thanks for the humor. This conditioning also applies to a fly in a covered jar. Once we 'condition' ourselves to certain things its only a matter of time before 'complacency' sets in.
How many times have we heard, you can't fight city hall, if you can't beat em', join em'. Well join em' and 'then' beat em'.

As a foreman on a construction site, I had two young girls working for me. One was strong and had no fear of walking the steel beams. In fact, she walked the steel beams better than some of the younger male ironworkers. She wanted to work and I let her do her thing. The other girl didn't have that much experience but I used her usefully. When I left the project, another foreman took over and he quickly fired the girl that didn't have much experience.
I guess men view women as sex objects, am I right or wrong?

Breaking News: St Albans explosions

For a moment I thought it was St Albans Vermont. I can well imagine the huge damage it caused.
Let me share an explosion story, we were erecting a new court house in Cambridge Mass back in the early seventies. We didn't have a scale box to put a acetylene and an oxygen bottle that was requested, so we used a cable with eyes on each end which we call in our trade (choker) and these bottles are hoisted to its destination. Such bottles are cutomarily choked with a 2x4 to avoid the cable from slipping. Anyways, the acetylene bottle was not choked with a 2x4. While in mid-air about 75 feet up the bottle slip out of its' sling and narrowly missed a fellow ironworker. The bottle exploded, the ironwoker who ran across the stell had the back of his hair singe. The old court house being beside us had all its' window blown out while the court was in session. The fire trunks were on the seen within ten minutes! No one was injured.
Therefore, I can picture the explosion in St Albans.
This is one of the many hair raising stories and I could tell you.
