  christians are hypocrites.

  christians, they love to talk about how loving, dutiful and compassionate they are, yet i have yet to meet one who does not practice hypocrisy to the highest degree.

  their willful ignorance of the bible combined with their two faced idealism to preach it, has made us sick, hasnt it?

  valentines day sucks

  this thread is for those of us that are single and hate everything that this day is about.

  i was using the atm at albertson's this morning and all around me i saw men buying candy and flowers and i seriously wanted to stab them....**note i would never actually hurt someone** sooooooooo i left the store and came right to work where i will be safe from ppl and teddy bears and candy and flowers.

  so if you hate this day as much as i do, feel free to use this thread to vent.. lola ** of the bitter table for one class** saying a big f*ck you to today..

  On Foxnews last night, Neil Cavuto interviewed a man who wrote a book about not giving flowers, candy, etc on Valentine's day, why? Many married and single men do not want give under compulsion. There were other reasons. It was an interesting interview. Soooooooo, does that cheer you up?

  Sometimes i miss talking to God

  although i now no longer truly believe in god ( i now neither believe or disbelieve anything about anything, its easier that way), there have been some very low times lately where i have started to actually pray and quickly stopped myself.

  although i didn't ever pray v often i did used to find that if i had something troubling me or was upset then praying used to leave me feeling so much calmer afterwards about things.

  i realise i actually miss being able to do that as now i have no way of feeling better over sad things or whatever may be troubling me.

  does the belief that there is no all-loving diety in which to be accountable to make it easier or harder to treat and judge others they way that you want to be treated and judged?.

  since evolution supposes that life and ultimately man who is at the top of the chain got here through a process of the fittest dominating and killing off the weaker, and since most modern evolutionists in democracies no longer think that this is good to practice, how do you deal with the fact that you are a living contradiction of your own belief since you pronounce the same thing both good and bad?

  Romans 2:21 asks, "...do you however the one teaching someone else, not teach yourself?"

  perry started a thread on evolution/atheism, which from his very first post showed an incredible ignorance of evolution and natural selection.

  axal's comments on the thread were just asinine - how all the atheists in his area were at the strip clubs fighting over women and fornicating!

  i have to say that i live in a small town and have been here for half a century, and i couldn't name five people that i know here who are atheist.

  To your question, "Need some education on evolution?" Thanks, but no thanks. My belief in a Creator did not come about by reading the Bible or any other reading material. For anyone to call me ignorant for not believing in evolution is presumptuous. I don't IMPOSE my belief in a Creator on others, I respect the beliefs of others, it's their CHOICE!!!!   my wife and grandaughter went to church with me this morning.

  i really would like to believe in god and christ but it all comes from the bible and the first scripture that was referred to was a contridiction.. 1 sam.

  15:29 says,"he will not feel regrets, for he is not an earthling man so as to feel regrets.".

  I'm with Mouthy. Everyday my eyes see's creation, everywhere. As an inventor and builder, I'm daily impressed with man's ingenuity,it's AWESOME. Man got his brains from a monkey? Hmmmmmmm, some may think so but I don't. I have enough experience with man that I wouldn't put my trust in him. I don't need to go to church to have faith in MY Creator.

  i was talking this morning while i was preaching with this sister, and she asked me: do you know that the preaching work will be done soon?

  i asked her: what do you mean?

  she responded back: a sister (and i know her also) told me that her brother heard that the preaching is gonna be over because there are only two countries that jw can't go because it's too dangerous and yada yada yada.
