Spirituality would mean experiencing freedom. Paul at Galations 5:22,23 highlights the 'fruits of the spirit' and then concludes by saying, 'Against such things there is no law.'

do you think the world would be a better place or not and please explain why.
Without going into specifics, my answer to your question, yes it would be a better place to live. Didn't we have thread about 'common sense' recently?

hey everyone.. i've been "out" for about six months now, fully enjoying life for the first time in a very long time.
part of my joy comes from the freedom i now have to explore other spiritualities.. i will say, though, that since leaving i've felt something lacking in my life.
not because i regret my decision to leave.
I have always found my spiritual fulfillment in the words of my late grandmother who was not a witness,"Respect people and don't ridicule or demean them ."

the bible presents many writings by the second king of israel, david.
he is presented as a musician with many psalms and praises to jehovah, the god of israel.. the chronicles of israel tell us that despite all his faults (including some accounts presented in detail in those chronicles), that king david was a man whose heart was close to jehovah and in whom jehovah found great favor.. certainly david was a courageous warrior.
he routed the jebusites out of the hilly city of jerusalem, a feat very difficult to accomplish.
Gopher, I'm aware of David's exploits, is it fair? What's the moral of the story? We may think he had the best of two worlds, but did he?
My only answer to your observation is, you play the role of God and tell me why your allowing such conduct/behavior to be written down for us to read. Gopher, what about King Manasseh's conduct? 2 Kings chapter twenty-one reveals how he, "...made his own son pass through the fire, and he practiced magic and looked for omens and made spirit mediums and professional foretellers of events. He did on a 'large' scale what was bad in Jehovah's eyes, to offend him." How many Kings had gone corrupt and asked for forgiveness?

ok after 17 years i finally was able to express my pain about my sisters actions.....i hope you like it
betrayal of snow
jesus lost his life for 30 pieces of silver
SM, we all have our demons to contend with, don't we? It's sad to hear your sister say, she had nothing to apologize for.
Couple of weeks ago I play golf with a fellow community member and he told me how he was hooked on coke. It wasn't a pleasant story to listen to. Anyways, I hope everything is turning out for the best. Thanks for sharing your emotions.

besides love.... your opinion?
As already been mentioned, tolerance. How about EMPATHY? Putting yourself in the shoes of others. How about asking, how much tolerance do we have, how much crap do we take from others before loose our cool?

noting that britain?s prime minister and americas?
president are both supposed to be actively religious i wonder how big apart there religious outlook plays in the decisions they make.
being non-religious myself i would be keen to see, no influence at all, but the only countries that have put that into practise are the communist ones, and we know what happened there.
Yes, without question!

challenge accepted michael moore finally enters the no spin zone!
tune in for the fireworks.. .
Has anyone asked the question, "Who benefits from having wars?" If and when we stop to answer this question, maybe, just maybe we'll get to see who is behind the curtain. Even J.F. Rutherford acknowledged that the 'international' bankers control world events. Need I say anymore? "Follow the money."

Robdar, you said it well. I socialize with these once upon a time young men of tender years, and their totally different. The natural cheerfulness is gone, they have nothing but bitterness and emptiness. To generate a spark of laughter and fun within them is a chore.
How is it that these young men are mature enough to kill but not 'considered' mature enough to drink in bars?
