  i am happy to report all links within the silentlambs website are working at this time.

  a server was attacked that held part of the information and it was caused to crash.

  fortunately all information has several backups and we were able to restore the data.

  since there are new people coming to this board on fairly regular basis with questions about the jw religion, i thought i'd pose this topic.. many, upon leaving the organization, don't really know where to turn for guidance.

  "look to yourself" doesn't really cut it when you've been told how to think your whole life.. many choose atheism, which is fine.

  however, for those still looking for a religion, here is a site that lists many of the worlds major religious movements.

  Lyman Swingle pretended to Ray Franz that he was sympathetic to him but wasn't. He was playing "good cop" in the old "good cop-bad cop" ruse in order to better draw out Ray Franz. Maybe to this day Ray thinks Swingle was a great guy, but his own throat was cut by the backstabbing and front-stabbing. Swingle was often rude and pugnacious, and I believe he helped push the WTS into its confrontation against France. He also bragged sometimes of the WTS locking horns with American Roman Catholics back in the 1940s. Once he went about 2 hours over his scheduled speaking time at an assembly. Some guy.

  many are those of us here who often ask who's who in the wbts.

  to simplify things it would be a good idea if a volunteer would create a web site specificaly with this aim.

  it could lead also for a book.. if one needs to consult the biography of don adams, joel adams, karl adams, etc., this site would furnish the answer.

  Supposedly though they have fleshly weaknesses they overcome them. These would include homosexuality, pedophilia, peeping-tommery etc, but indications regarding Greenlees, Chitty and now you say this other person are that instead they remain perverts and can misuse their positions of power. If this is so for most of them then no wonder the erupting scandals, and the halls are not safe for the children and grandkids.

  there have been several newspaper stories published recently implying that brainwashing and mind control do not exist.

  this is very unusual in that, suddenly before the trial of suspected terrorist cult members, we start seeing spontaneous articles from different news sources telling the american public that mind control does not exist.. this has happened before.

  JW Molester - Trial Results

  about the middle of january i mentioned that my son-in-laws (sil) dad would face trial for molesting a young girl.

  he was arrested in late march 2001. he talked to the police at his home, and agreed to accompany them to the police station for a "lie detector' test.

  he denied to the police his commission of this crime.

  The Watchtower Society's sympathy is by far more with so-called repentant molestors rather than the victims. No doubt because from Leon Greenlees down many in the highest positions have had sex problems. Bad fruitage.

  the last paragraph is perhaps the most interesting, though it may contain no new information.. .

  The 1998 Awake (Nov I think) puts the lie to their not knowing they had more than a library research relationship with the UN. Also the UN has a website which lists that Awake as supportive of the UN. They can't get out of this one.

  Sister Who died Refusing Blood

  i normally do not comment on this type of subject, yet i have just been informed there may be child abuse involved for her two children at the hands of a fellow jw.

  i will investigate to find the facts, yet if this were true this family has lost much in the "spiritual paradise.

  Fred, since the Watchtower Society is so PROUD of its policy on blood why don't you encourage them to put up a big poster of the dead children in their main dining hall in Brooklyn with a heading like "Our Heroes."

  They won't because it is a shame, a deplorable horrible blood-soaked despicable sacrificing of children which Matthew 12 including verse 7 speaks against.
