The Cancel Culture Is Alive And Well
by minimus inif you don’t support certain ideas or beliefs, you may find yourself on the losing end in business, money matters, and community.
curt schilling, a former red sox player who is conservative today reported how his insurance company suddenly dropped him even though he was an excellent consumer with them because of his “ views”.
he was marked by those in charge and evidently was told by the rep he knew that they didn’t like his political views.

Is it possible that the media wants a civil war to stay in business? Last I heard, CNN was going to be sold off because it's not making profits anymore.
What will CNN, MSNBC etc have to fill their time with once Trump is no longer President?

Do You Support Trump Being Impeached Again?
by minimus init looks like it can happen again and i suspect if it does happen, the senate will not convict either because they can’t convict him since it’s after his presidency or simply because they don’t have sufficient votes..

Impeachment is only an accusation. Unless investigated and proven there is sufficient evidence of high crimes and misdemeanors to lead to formal charges and a conviction, he is not disqualified to hold office.
I suspect Pelosi is hoping this time there will be sufficient Senate support for charges and a conviction to disqualify in 2024.
They are afraid of Trump and his support base so they will attempt anything they can to emasculate him and destroy his support base.
Seems odd there were plans posted on social media in advance of Jan 6 about a siege on the Capital, yet neither FBI nor US defense reported that to the President, Congress or Capital Police.
Also odd that the Capital had so few Police on-duty on the day there was to be a joint session to review highly controversial election results on the same day as a large rally which was likely to protest outside the Capital building.
Apparently, those that broke-in did not attend the Trump rally but were already doing so before the rally was completed and before the crowd departed for the Capital.
I have heard there has been photos showing Capital Police holding doors open for invaders to enter and I've seen photos showing Capital Police posing for selfies with some of those that entered. It seems many who entered, may have thought they were on a tour which is why they were calm and remained within the roped areas.

I suspect Democrats (and many Republicans), will continue to attempt to demonize and punish Trump, for interfering and placing at risk their opportunities for personal gain from influence bribes and money syphoning they have come to rely on. From the start, Trump has been feared and has since showed many within the political community to be reptiles.
Demonization will also set an obvious example of what will happen to anyone else similar to Trump that may have been considering running for President.
In addition, perhaps they think they can cause Trump to feel there will be little potential for reelection in 2024 so he won't bother trying. Not only would that demoralize his established support base, but will also provide opportunity for fellow Republicans that are planning to run for President in 2024 that would not otherwise run if he is the Republican candidate.
Those that think Trump will throw-in-the-towel, haven't been paying attention. When he meets opposition, he has proven he will double down and will be further energized to push-back, go around or climb over whatever is in his way.

Today is the last day for JW`s to sign up for the Redress Scheme.? ARC
by smiddy3 inhi, friends , i doubt that the jehovah`s witnesses will sign up and in one way it is a good thing because it will bring reproach on the name of god and his supposed organization, if the govts.are true to theire word they should name and shame them.
for not signing up.. one of the reasons for not signing up is because they do not share interfaith with other christian religions.. however they seem to have no problem selling their kh`s to christendoms religions .?.
but if any member of the jw`s has any dealings with another church you will be brought before the judicial committee to explain yourself and maybe end up disfellowshipped.. if ,and i don`t beleive there will be any persecution ,but if it did occur it would be because they brought it upon themselves ..

It's too late for the reproach concern. WT caused reproach by not acknowledging the problem, attempting to cover it-up and by not cooperating with authorities such as the Royal commission. WT is now the example of the worst organization which is least Godlike.
If WT wanted to promote itself as God's true organization, it would have early on acknowledged the problem and have taken a leadership role in development of policies and procedures to correctly deal with the situation as a shining example to the world.

Seek a lawyer that specializes in Wills & Estates law. If asked, most lawyers will say they do wills & Estates but you really need a lawyer immersed in this area of law, not a lawyer that prepares a couple dozen wills in a year. -

Further to JeffT's comments, the 3rd reason to Contest is proof that your mother was unduly influenced (threatened/forced) into making someone a beneficiary that she otherwise would not name or leave the same proportion of her estate to.
Suspecting something occuring is not the same as proving.

Not very good publicity for the corvid vaccine.
by wasone ina critical care nurse at chattanooga's memorial hospital bites the dust 17 minutes after taking the covid shot while being interviewed thursday on live tv.
in all fairness, she later said this happens to her often after experiencing pain.
just saying this is not the press the vaccine needs right now.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnzbaclpfs4.

'Bites the dust' usually means the person died.
The title of the video clarifies she fainted which is further supported by your comment 'she later said ...'

Who owns the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society
by pistolpete inactually no one does.. i know this is a concept that can be hard for some to grasp, considering all other forms of organizations like sole proprietorship, general partnership, an llc, or a for profit corporation.
these organizations are created legally for the simple purpose of making a profit.. but unlike a for profit corporation,---- a nonprofit corporation is formed to carry out-.
whether that be religious, educational, charitable, scientific or other qualifying purpose.

Profit or not, every corporation has shareholders or Directors who will effectively act as the corporation's owners. The shareholders hold voting rights over how the corporation is operated and whether it continues to exist.
If there were no shareholders, how would a corporation President/CEO become appointed? Someone cannot just walk into an existing company and declare they are now President and add their name to bank accounts and other legal documents without the authority of those who are deemed to already hold legal authority as owners/directors.

Minimus, it's not just about the Presidency. It's about the integrity of all elections.
The appearance of this election is of corruption which no doubt leads many voters to now doubt their vote is of any value. This will include some Democrats that maybe currently happy their candidate appears to have won this election, but are not blind to see how that likely occurred.
Unfortunately, too many only know what mainstream media report and what social media allow to be posted.
Without a full investigation and a means to restore trust and faith in the process, will potential voters even bother voting in the future?
Who will act to ensure an investigation takes place? Biden?
I understand it is the delegation of Representatives from each of those states in which the process is questionable who will need to decide who their state is supporting as President.
