i want to spare you a long post about my background.
because this topic is about something else.a small information is that i knew ttatt before i got married.
but then i somehow pushed it back for quite some time because i didnt want to change my life and it was convenient to instantly meet new people when you move into a new city.couple of years into my marriage and seeing all the changes in the jw my thirst for ttatt resurfaced.
Suggest consulting a marriage counselor if you both wish to attempt to save the marriage. If she doesn't wish to continue, then you have your answer so any attempt to force the marriage to continue, will probably result in two unhappy people and an eventual separation/divorce.
Even if she refuses to talk to a marriage counselor, perhaps a few sessions would be beneficial for you even if you go alone.
hi friends.. as the op states lately my mouse keeps dying on me while i`m in the middle of typing a post or whatever and so i lose all that i have laboured to type.. i keep resurrecting the mouse but now it`s dying more frequently .. any suggestions on how to get around this problem , or am i flogging a dead mouse ?.
i await your suggestions.. smiddy.
i know i've started similar topics before but this time i'm serious.
my parents have been constantly pressuring me and after yesterday's watchtower study they asked me if i was going to be baptized this summer... and i said yes.
i probably should have thought about it more before making a final decision, but they're pretty much forcing me to do it anyway.
I know that getting baptized is a bad decision but I had an incident last year that I really, really don't want to repeat.
While I won't speculate what the incident was, what makes you think it won't be repeated after you are baptized? If it was repeated after baptism, if caught, it would likely result in more extreme 'punishment' by not only your parents but also by every JW on the planet.
I would suggest discussing with your parents that as Jehovah only wants followers that do so willingly out of love and desire to please him, would it be acceptable to Jehovah if you were forced into baptism due to their constant pressure and threats of punishment?
As baptism is a lifelong promise and commitment to God, how is it that you are mature enough to make that commitment when you aren't legally old enough to commit to another person, or to drink alcohol?
Your parents likely don't even permit you to decide how late to stay out or what clothes or hair style you can wear.

I know you mean well but its too late to go back now, I've already told them I'm going to do it.
No, it's not too late. It's not too late until you're actually under the water.
You can claim that you prayed about becoming baptized as you don't consider yourself ready yet. You continually think about Jesus example as the son of God, waiting until he was 30 before being baptized. If that wasn't an important consideration, why then did God feel it was important enough to mention it in the bible?
Honestly sometimes I feel like I have a split personality, jw me and whatever the real me is.
Further proof that you're not mature enough to commit to a decision that will effect the remainder of your life.
jehovah's witnesses repeatedly report that when disaster strikes they are the quickest to respond, the most organized relief agency and they provide superior support to their members and the affected community.. they make it sound like organizations such as the red cross are completely in disarray every disaster until jehovah's witnesses show up and show everyone how it's done!.
in the wake of recent disasters around the globe i would like to encourage everyone to share experiences of people showing genuine love to their neighbors, communities going the extra mile and organizations doing brilliant work..
What does WT organization actually provide in assistance?
While claims are made that WT provided relief efforts, in actuality, it is individual bros & sis that volunteer their time, attending at their own expense. Local area JWs are expected to supply meals at their own expense, to feed those attending volunteer workers. I have not heard of WT expending money to supply either WT 'staff', or to assist JW wishing to volunteer, with transportation, accomodation or food assistance.
I further understand WT has either solicited various wordly suppliers for building material donations, or has at times purchased building materials, with full 'expectation' that those affected, will submit their insurance claim payments to WT as monetary donations.

Correction: I think it was 20 cents (10 cents the copy in the '60s).
I recall, 5 cents each, 10 cents for the pair here in Canada.
