  Tough day -- my mom died today

  poor thing, she's had alzheimer's for about 10 years and the last year she's been on hospice care because she's been so close to death.

  the past few months she's been slowly filling up with water -- they gave her lasix (not sure of the spelling) to relieve the edema and it worked, sort of.

  last weekend she actually looked a little better.

  No its still there - copy the link and paste it into your browser window. Its a bug with the forum software that doesn't like the & symbol and so breaks the links.

  i finally got through to lady lee.

  she's living in ottawa and is mostly confined to a wheel chair.

  her feet are worse and can barely walk.

  There was something similar in the news here recently about someone having Chinese characters done but its turned out to be the symbol of some really dodgy Chinese gang.
