Urm....Stones
Yes, I'm serious - I collect rocks, minerals, agates, fossils etc. I've also just started polishing my own stones and making jewellery out of them I know I'm sad but I enjoy it !
so does anyone like to collect things, such as stamps, or figurines, cards, pottery or whatever?
i am a person who is a little pack rat, and i must admitt i have some cool collections, such as a my 1920 royal doulton minature toby's and waterford crystal wine glassses.
i have alot of pottery and earthenware that i also enjoy.

the last straw for me was when an attendant grabbed 22 yr. old me at a cnvention and told me to come inside it was time for it to start.
i said no, and he got in my face.
anyone else get told what to do as an adult?
And here was I thinking Simon was quiet
Simon was already having doubts and was on his way out of the WT mentally, so he didnt want to be there anyway !
He had the audacity to look at his watch as I approached and shook his head...as though I had no right to be there...he didnt know where to look when I told him I had the runs....it was a complete lie...but hillarious to say the least.
LOL priceless, I remember Nothenden Assembly Hall, I spent many hours counting the circles or whatever they were that decorated the part above and around the platform Remember the really nice comfy chairs upstairs, they always closed that section off - I suppose too many were falling asleep! We need to keep the sheep on hard, uncomfortable plastic chairs downstairs
HANDED him the baby and said " whew thanks my feet are killing me" and started walking off
That was brilliant, I'll bet he thought twice before doing that again
Iam glad Simon taught him a colorful phrase, in my wrath and misery I would have done worseIf someone did that to me now that I've been out a while I would bite their head off too.

The last assembly we went to, I was very very pregnant and had very swollen feet because of the heat (baby was born a week later) and we also had a ratty, hot, bored two year old Liam -so you can imagine the fun eh?
The air conditioning seemed to be turned off and it was too hot in the arena, we took Liam for a walk on the circle that goes around the arena. We were immediately stopped and told that we shouldn't be walking around during the sessions. We carried on, Simon was playing with Liam, I decided to sit in a seat that was against the wall, little attendant appears out of nowhere are tells me I can't sit there as its for attendents only- Simon stepped in a taught him a new phrase Then a while later we decided to take the lift, rather than me having to walk up the stairs to the top of the stand and then right down again to the front to get underneath the seating area where they the mother's room was - little attendent stops the doors closing and tells us to get out of the lift its for attendents only ! Simon taught him an even more colourful phrase We went home early shorty after that !
The assembly before that when Liam was about a year old, was fun too. Again the air conditioning didn't seem to work again and Liam was getting very very overheated, we took him outside to the circle and stripped him off down to his nappy, because we were worried as he was so overheated, and again were told by an attentant that we should be sitting down listening !
A lot of these attendents had absolutely no idea what it was like to have young kids at these assemblies.
.
i went to campaign strategies and had my access denied.. as it was in members only i checked that i was in the members directory and i am so why can't i get into it.. please don't tell me that the code of secrecy here is as bad as that of wts.. is this need to know info that i as a mere mortal do not need to know.
zaphod
It is used as a place to organise specific campagins away from the main board where anyone can read by just registering an account - its keeps things anyway from any WT people that may be monitoring. It is invite only if you are involved in a particular campagin.
