is it true that the org are stopping the jwd forum from re-activating the chat room facility because it allows instant discussion rather than the stilted question / response of the threads ?
is this a sign that this site is not as distant from the org as we thougth ?

Um yes its parts time, considering he works full time, runs his own business, has two kids and is doing the equivalent of full time study to get a degree and well as keeping the forum ticking over I'm sorry but the chat room is NOT a priority.

Seriously, no conspiracy - Simon is in the process of totally rewriting the chat room software and it will be back soon all dancing all singing with bells and whistles on
this is a question i've been puzzled by ever since my days in the borg.
everywhere i looked i saw tradesmen, cleaner, auto-mechanics here and there some computer technician.
and i do know there are two doctors, one gp and one specialist in the field of drug rehabilitation.. i've heard stories of some being true scholars though.
I'm posting this for LARC, who sometimes has trouble getting the posting to work on the forum.

I was not always a scholar. During my lifetime, I have been a
researcher, a director of education, and a professor. Now that I am
retired, I have the time to be a scholar.
As you might suspect, I am not a JW any more.

i have watched with sheer amazement all day the work of the emergency services; their sheer dedication and professionalism and skill will no doubt prevent & reduce the further prospect of fatalities....i think they deserve a huge round of applause...if ever i have had opportunity to be patriotic it is now.... what do you think?.
