Sad news from Maui
by Makena1 inwe went to our favorite beach, met up with some of our local friends.
we don't have much in the way of details - but heard some devasting news that ari (well known to seattle area exjw's and i am sure by many on the board) killed himself sometime over last weekend.
he was so excited about moving to maui, and starting a new life here.

I Feel So Bad.....HELP
by Sunspot ini was so disappointed when i saw that my pm bin had been emptied of something that i wanted desperately to keep!
i have never paid much attention to when the pms get the axe....i am usually done replying etc within a week or two so and haven't kept track of this.. my problem is......i hade exchanged snail-mail addies with some of the posters here, and we had agreed to send christmas cards.
i didn't write the addies down---cuz i knew right where they were and thought i could retrieve them when the time came......they are gone!.

Sorry you lost the PM Sunspot Hopefully people will see this thread and resend the them to you.
My suggestion to Simon is, why not put a limit on the pm boxes, instead of dumping them out without letting people know?
Its not that Simon just decides to dump the PM boxes, the PMs are automatically deleted by the software when they are 30 days old, that is how it has been since the PM featrue was added. -

Don't worry about him Mouthy. Your right, but it seems people like Ironglad like to make a huge big deal out of things and imply the worst of us and that we have somthing to hide. But hey AlanF being permantely deleted does sound more dramatic doesn't it!((((mouthy))))

Maybe he's been reinstated but shame at the deletion prevents people from admitting it happened?
Oh for crying out loud. Show me where anyone has denied he was, its common knowledge.He was timed out for 1 WEEK because he refused to stop being insulting to people after repeated warnings, same as has happened with a few people. His account is active, he is NOT deleted, if he chooses not to post that is HIS problem not ours.

Fe2O3Baby has arrived
by Fe2O3Girl inour son william grant was born last wednesday 2/11/05 at 20:43, weighing 9lb 2oz (4140g).
we are both really well.. it wasn't the birth experience i had hoped for - on my long list of things i didn't want to happen, the only things i avoided were induction, pethidine, episiotomy (i pushed too efficiently, no time to do it!
) and caesarean.
