Stronger Christian presence on JWN?
by Christ Alone ini've only been a member here for a short time, but it seems like there are more christians on the board lately.
for the first few months that i was on jwn, it appeared that there were very few that argued in favor of a creator and belief in the bible in particular.
there seems to be several more that have recently joined...or at least posted more regularly regarding belief.

from time to time the issue of how to fulfill the "form of worship that is acceptable to god," mentioned by james in his letter, namely, looking after widows and orphans "in their tribulation"... comes up.
given the issue of tithing, the plethora of institutionalized charity choices, and the existence of ones in need, perhaps in our own households and families... but certainly in our towns, countries... and around the world... how does one fulfill this requirement?

This is getting tiring - personal insults need to stop - end of story.
Just because someone disagrees doesn't mean they have an empty head or small mind. If you are going to bring your beliefs to a DISCUSSION forum you have to expect people will disagree.
On the other hand if you do disagree and want to discuss it should be done respectfully
There needs to be respect on both sides and this constant tag teaming of insults from both sides is getting very boring.

What I am objecting to is that you are again trying to turn this into a personal arguement about others on this forum. It wasn't a member of this forum that wrote the article ! There is no need for your comments to be so personal against Aguest - if you don't like her forum don't go there. We are not going to allow this forum to be a place to attack and insult people that go there. It's an internet forum, end of story all this talk of it being a cult and a church is just ridiculous, we will not be allowing stuff from over there to be brought here for the sole purpose of ridiculing it and the people that post there.
