My Scan Results
by Dansk inas many of you will know, yesterday i received my scan results from the haematologist.
when i entered his office he was beaming and so i thought the news would be good.
the chemotherapy has shrunk the cancerous lymph nodes in my stomach substantially!!

Well said.
Some people lately seem to think that JWs that come here are fair game to harass and insult or label troll. You may not like their beliefs but they have every right to post here and express those beliefs without being insulted.
Debate the beleifs with them, yes. But don't just attack them because you don't like what they are saying

And what exactly do you do for a living Angharad and how many years experience in the field of surveillance and policing/terrorism control do you have?
What has my work experience got to do with anything? They had every opportunity to detain and search him on the way to the station, they didn't - do you really think that firing eight bullets into someones heads is a controled police response?

I don't know whether they knew or not , but even if they did it does not excuse what they did.

Coming out of a house that had been under police scrutiny.
It was a block of flats - so anyone of the large number of residents in there would have been responsible if they had happened to be the one that got followed from there?

I believe that the blame rests with the man who was killed. If he hadn't had been braking the law, he would not have been killed. Period.
What ! Its the victims fault he was pinned down and executed because his visa had expired - what a totally ridiculous and ignorant statement.
His family should not be bothered about him being murdered because he shouldn’t have been here! He got what he deserved did he?
Hey lets give the executioners a reward because it saved a bit of paper work for the immigration department.
No one can make excuses for this incident and people should be prosecuted.

Do you like this when it happens to you?
by free2beme ini have been on message boards for years, not so much former witness boards, but political or even just general topics.
in so doing, something always happens and i wonder if i am the only one who finds this annoying.. you type something, perhaps a topic or a response and you don't think it is all that important to check all spelling and make sure grammar is perfect.
after all, it's not school anymore and we are not being graded.

Yeah I agree its very annoying, and can be very petty when it is used to avoid the issue being discussed !i'd rather see misspellings than " R " and "U" and "4" type of writings.
Arrrggghh that really makes me cringe! "Don't b L8, r u ready 4 this etc I hate it !
