  My Humble Opinion of This Forum

  first off, i love frequenting this forum.

  it has given me the opportunity to truly put jw stuff to the test and i thank everyone for their helpful responses.. however, i have noticed a couple things.. 1) the use of the word "troll" is completely childish.

  this is no different than the name calling used by jws (e.g.

  Pet peeves of mine - Troll labeling, why can't we give people the benefit of the doubt, if someone is a troll they will show themselves up, there is no need to start a "troll clock" based off a couple of first posts.

  Also if someone comes on the forum and mentions that they are still and active JW and still believe some of the teachings - we do not need the "Have you told the elders you are posting here" type of questions, for an active person coming here and posting is a huge step and is probably very scary but it could be the start of their exit - they do not need to be told they are doing something wrong and shouted down because they may still hold onto some of the beliefs which happens occassionally.

  Need advice from a female

  ive been married for 18 years to my beautiful wife.

  when i was younger i had a lot of attention due to my looks which has always made me extremely uncomfortable.

  Exercise classes always motivate me more - I find just going to the gym to work out on the treadmill so boring and I don't push myself but if you are in a class you tend to work harder. I recently started going to a Zumba class, it's a great cardio workout but fun and doesn't feel like the usual chore of working out.

  The pitch invasion at Manchester Maine Road - they were selling off the flowers on the last day, one minute there was an orderly line the next someone ran up to the front and start grabbing all the flowers and this started a trend, it turned into absolute chaos with people just running up to the front and grabbing anything they could - by the time it was finished everyone in the stands had stopped talking and was just watching what was going on on the pitch , there were trampled flowers everywhere. Very embarrassing !

  i never visit rick's creepy web site, but it looks like "johnny" recently shared some more incredible information from inside headquarters.

  this guy made a video perpetuating the rumor.

  two djs, posing as the queen and prince, prank a nurse into divulging info on kate.

  nurse is later found dead, apparently suicide.. -----------.

  'jacintha saldanha, the receptionist who was duped by two australian djs who were pretending to be queen elizabeth and prince charles in order to get information on the duchess of cambridge's pregnancy, has been found dead.. the woman's body was found at an address close to king edward vii hospital in london, where the duchess was being treated, according to the u.k.'s daily mail.

  lol, yes, I am familiar with their military jobs. It's a GREAT public relations exercise

  So if they did nothing except be royal and sit on their arse and attend galas and parties etc they would be criticized, but if they work difficult, skilled and dangerous jobs its all a public relations stunt - seems like they can't win whatever they do !

  Seriously, though. Maybe they had her done away with; they don't like 'inconvenient women' in the Royal Family of GB (can you say 'Diana Spencer'?). Unless, of course, the woman's name is "Wallace Simpson" and she is a Nazi sympathizer.

  I think that is a bit far fetched, what reason would there be for this? I'm no great fan of the royals but Diana was no saint either. I do think that Willaim and Harry come accross well and genuine and they both work hard and sometimes dangerous jobs so I think they deserve credit for that.

  Sorry but this prank is not worth someone choosing to kill themselves over. The persons played a practical joke. The person played took it way too strongly. Nobody should kill themselves over that.

  I agree but we don't know what else was going on in this person's life, the thought of being disciplined or loosing her job may have been the breaking point and tipped her over the edge, the extra pressure of taking care of such a high profile patient must weigh on these nurses and the publicy around it must have been devastating.

  I think it was a dumb prank, Kate maybe royalty but she deserves the same privacy as any other patient in hospital. I don't think it was malicious but it has ended tragically and I'm sure it will take a while for those DJ's to move on from this also.
