How many XJWs went onto another faith....?

i'm just curious here.. as i am exiting currently and trying to find my new place (and belief system) in this world, i am wondering what the experience was like for other xjws.

did you go onto a new faith?

After coming out of the WTS, it didn't take me long to figure out that all organized religion is false. None have the real truth! However, the real truth is in the bibles. God controls the understanding of it, and do not ever think that anyone can go around His authority and get it without his approval. There is a requirement that He has, and it is found at: Matthew 22:36-37.

i'm not a jehovah's witness, nor have i ever been one.

(neither have i played one on tv.

) but i have relatives who joined back in the late 60s, and we've heard precious little from them since.. i've read many jw publications, talked to their missionaries and am at a loss.

in theory......... a jw who survives as part of the gt, is restored to perfection during the 1000 years, and remains faithful, surviving through satan's last stand will be offered to drink from the fountain of life freely..

It looks like you have had a bit of light creep into your brain!!! “Good for you”!!!!

If you ever want to reed the bible and get some sense out of it, then you have to realize most all doctrines of the WTS are NOT correct.

The statement in the scriptures: “the wages that sin pays are death” are correct, but they only pertain to the first century Christians, not to any one after 70 CE.

This is the scripture that backs that statement: Romans 5:13 For until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not charged against anyone when there is no law.

No one is under the law covenant today or has been since around 70 CE. This is a fact!

Now, to give some understanding to this scripture we must decide; when did Jesus do away with the law (law covenant)? Remember, where there is no law covenant there is no sin charged.

If we conclude that Jesus did away with sin, (as the scriptures state he did at the end of the Christian era) the end of the Jewish system of things, at 70 CE. And no one living since that time has been under the law covenant (and they have not since it was concluded only with the first century Christians.) Then sin is NOT charged to any one! This statement is backed up with other scriptures that state; on judgment day all will be judged on their deeds!!! (Not on their SINS.)

Your next question:

Well if that is the case, how do those who are to 'live forever on paradise earth' atone for their sins.

Am I getting something totally messed up here with respect to the doctrine of the JWs?

The answer to this question will be too deep for you to understand at this time, and no, in respect to the WTS’s doctrines, they are so messed up that you would not ever be able to get them any worse!!!

Does God direct the WTBS through Holy Spirit?

the watchtower society and/or the governing body of jehovah's witnesses claim that god is directing them (may 1, 1961 watchtower magazine page 274 paragraph 11).. .

they say that it is vital that jw's appreciate this fact and respond to the directions of the slave as they would to the voice of god, because it is his provision (june 15, 1957 watchtower magazine page 370 paragraph 7) and that only people with independent and rebellious spirits ignore the fact that god is directing them (june 1, 1985 watchtower magazine page 18 paragraph 12).

You are right, God directs no false religion! There is no true organized religion today on the earth. All that is understood by all the religions concerning God's plan for mankind is not correct. The real truth is as for away from man's understanding as Mars is from the earth, and that is a long way off. All that man needs to know as for as salvation is concerned is written down in the scriptures but, one must get out of false religion and seek the true God with all their heart before God will start to open their eyes to the real truth!!!

it's apparent by their conduct, that after waiting 35 years and seeing 1914 fail to bring armageddon, the slave that was faithful turned evil.

My point here is, the performance record for the job the so-called Faithful and Discreet Slave has done is so abysmally poor, they are truly 'returning to the Master what is His, WITHOUT INTEREST!!!'

I have some information concerning the FDS; the WTS clams to represent that may be of interest to you.

In the first place, the “parable” of the faithful and slave at: Matthew 24:45- “Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time? 46 Happy is that slave if his master on arriving finds him doing so. 47 Truly I say to you, He will appoint him over all his belongings.

…was given by Jesus to the first century Christians, and it applied to those people ONLY! It has nothing to do with anyone since that time. However, one must have a good knowledge of all information in the bible, in order to understand the knowledge of God.

That parable (scriptural understanding) being the foundation the WTS is based on, kind of leaves the society "quivering in quicksand!!!"

I can prove most all-scriptural understandings by the WTS are wrong!!!

The bases I have for this statement is this: Most all of the New Testament (Greek Scriptures) applies to the salvation of the Jews! Those that would believe in the “Good News” that Jesus and his followers preached, and then they maintained a righteous standing until the end… their death, or the end of that system of things.

Mankind today has no part in in the covenant that Jesus concluded with the first century Christians.

Using the above knowledge will correct all the misunderstanding the world has of the bible, and will put one on the correct path to the real truth. The information that is in the New Testament will not make any sense to you or anyone else without this knowledge!!!

Yes, God will make every thing new at that time, and the former things will have passed away.

Information is now available for mankind to read and understand what is coming up that will change all things, even the world we now live on.
