  Ever Shun a JW?

  my jw sister and i are on good terms, and i talk to her on a regular basis.

  on the other hand, i have a jw cousin who i hope never to talk to again.

  i have only seen her once in 30 years and that was at my sister's daugher's wedding.

  well...i watched connie chung tonight..looking for the jw interview..but instead found her inteviewing her hubby morey...(sp).

  one of the topics was bill clinton.

  seems he is serious about wanting a talk show!...i had this great idea!.

  For those that dont know much about customs... this is one of a kind, only one like it. That said, those of us that like choppers always leave thier "touch" on it.... I still need to do that. Most times, my friends look for my duct tape and wire ties.

  chronology: i am 50. was born and raised a jw, reg pub @ 6, baptized @ 10, reg pio (b4 hs graduation) and giving public talks @ 17, went to bethel @ 18, left bethel @ 20, married (1st time) @ 21, df'd @ 29, divorced @ 30, reinstated @ 30, remarried @ 32, df'd again @ 48, divorced again @ 49. one heck of a roller-coaster, eh?.

  Onasolo....

  Our stories have some similarities. My JW days ended tho when I was about 16 or so tho, so I had most of my adult life to sort thru things and make lots of decidions outside the org.... tho most were wrong decisions, they were mine, not others.

  As I told you before, feel free to yell if you run into a wall of sorts. Some of us have scaled those walls already and can help, or at least give you a boost over them.

  I tell my friends that are very used to one way of living... mostly biker types... your comfort zone is like having a rope encircling your feet. It is uncomfy to step outside of that rope, sometimes scarey. Kick the rope sometimes, make your limitations less and less each day. You will not only enjoy life more, but more people will enjoy it with you.
