  Y?know, I was just in the bathroom cleaning some window blinds, and I was thinking about what Avishai said about some psychoanalyzing me. I put the info out there and I am a big boy and I can deal with whatever response comes back to me. It?s all fair game to a point, and I would only share these things with those whom I trust. That would be you folks.

  I would just like to point out that so many of us find so many reasons for not taking action. I wonder what would happen if we instead put that kind of energy into finding more reasons to take action. Can?t never could and shouldn?t never would.

  I hope that you have considered all the possible outcomes and ramifications of your actions and that they in no way impede your primary goal of securing freedom from abuse for your kids. Erring on the side of caution in the short term may be a bitter pill to swallow ... but the right course of medicine given your desired result.

  Sorry for the attn. getting post, but I am so pissed off tonight that I can't see straight. ALL these f*cks need to be shot.

  Lemme tell y'all why I am so mad. I work w/ abused kids in a group home. Today, one of 'em who has been horribly abused, not even a teenager, decides to get attn. by pulling out three of his teeth. With his bare hands, punching himself, whatever, one at a time. Some of these kids are so ruined I don't think they will EVER even slightly recover.

  That's why I get so pissed at these sanctimonious assholes on this board who spout off about how "jehovah will take care of it" when they have no idea. Don't they understand, NOTHING CAN EVER MAKE UP FOR THIS!!!!! If they heard of the horrors I deal w/ every day, saw them, maybe they would change their minds, see kids w/ enormous scars on their bodies from parents who tried to KILL them @ 4 yrs. old. Seeing kids who don't shit for weeks, because their bowels are the only things they feel they have any control over. Oh, but wait, I forgot, they don't help people in this way, they give themsomething far better. The watchtower. Or death if you don't agree w/ them. Sorry, & thanks for letting me vent, it's been a rough day. avishai

  All three of my daughters have suffered from severe depression, low self-esteem, suicidal ideation, and two of them attempted suicide ("NOTHING COULD EVER MAKE UP FOR THIS!!!!!"). This is all documented and except for Nancy's attempt, it is what the judge and family law court mediator based their decision on when they placed the girls with Mary and me. Whatever I am doing, I am doing civilized and above board. I am doing it legally and with dignity. I don' think there is a professional in the judiciary system that would take exception to my activism, or who would not understand.

  Here is a point maybe some have missed. Neither me nor Sara, in this instance, get to have legal representation in battling it out for custody and visitation. We can have an attorney of our own, but it will not do either one of us any good. The judge ordered a specially appointed attorney to investigate and then make a recommendation. I just signed releases giving him access to all medical records and exams, private counseling sessions and CPS reports. The judge 9.9 times out of ten goes with the court appointed attorney's recommendation.

  Hopefully, some of the JWs will take these things to heart and that Jehovah just might BE "taking care of it" by exposing these religious frauds for what they are! Whatever the case---what's right is right---and what's wrong is loathsome and also illegal!

  Littletoe, you are very cautious. So much so, however, that nothing would get done in behalf of Elizabeth or Elese or Nancy. The laws in England must be very silly to have a father locked up for protesting and defending his children against lies and slander . . . exposing the lies and the slander. Oh yes, that's right. I knew there was a reason some of you left and came over here.

  LIttletoe, in the US, protesting and demonstrating is an accepted and proven method for getting others to look at issues. It gets people involved in making change happen. It is not radical, but respected if done with dignity and composure. When there is documentation to support your protest, it is honored by even the courts. That is why protesting is one of our rights here in the states.

  Littletoe, you intellectualize alot of things and you use alot of words to say what you want to say, but hey, if you only use five words to say it when you could have used 20, you just aren't trying hard enough.

  Elsewhere understands and covers all angles when he said: "The JWs will call you a liar... but you have documented proof and witnesses to the abuse you are protesting. Maybe make another sign: I am not a liar... ask me for the documentation!"

  in preparing for this custody battle and ensure the safety of my children, i have been researching and putting together a strong case with evidence of harm caused to the children by the religion.

  if sufficient evidence is presented, the judge will more than likely rule that mom is not to discuss any religion whatsoever with the children as long as they minors living in my home.

  i have much evidence of abuse which includes a recording i made of mother using coersive tactics to get our 13 year old to go the meetings.

  She was aware the conversation was being recorded. In this case, I do not need to have the recordings to hold up in court. I just need the court appointed attorney to hear them.

  Honestly I feel bad for you daughter, she seems to be caught between a rock and a hard place. If she goes to the meetings with her mom it would appear she is disappointing you....if she doesn't go she is disappointing her mom....no wonder the kid is so stressed out.

  Try this one: She is disappointing mom when she does not go, but still SHE DOES NOT WANT TO GO. I do not express any disappointment if she goes, and I am not disappointed if she goes. I support her decision, however, and I am fighting to ensure her preference is at least respected by mom and stepdad. See the difference? In other words, I am not telling her I do not want her to go, I am defending and enforcing her choice not to go.

  You see, my children talk to me. I listen. I find out what they want and prefer and I do all that I can to reasonably support that. If the child says, "I don't want to go to the meetings and associate with JW's, then I am going to fight to make sure she does not have to.
