Earlier today, I really took exception not only to the accusation of racism, but of a seemingly absurd incident with another whom I will not mention because this person is really not worth the trouble. They have their thing going and I have mine and there is really no conflict where it really matters. I was going to just leave and try and keep in contact with those I have grown very fond of, and to write about it, but I have decided against it, and again, it is not worth it. Whatever slight I may have felt, or whatever goof-ball idiotic squabbling there might have been no longer matters to me in the least, and I see this board as a forum for doing much good, and I, although having a legitimate cause for complaint, will therefore continue to lend my support to it without complaint or dessension.

If you knew my story, my entire story, you would know that I am highly sensative to language and speech barriers. Stop judging, please. I DID apologize . . . um twice now I think, if anyone took my words wrong and you did take my words wrong therefore it is up to you to forgive and look at it from another perspective. It is no longer my problem. It is over now. Keep it going if you want, but you too are silly.

Okay, here is my final thought on this racial thing. It is a non-issue with me. My descriptive words WERE to paint a clearer picture of the comedy. It was funny to me. I am no more a racist than those who are objecting. I have been the victim of racial hate because I was white living in a predominently black and hispanic neighborhood while growing up. You are not the only ones who have been victims and whites are not the only ones who vicitmize.
To the non-whites: Have you ever referred to a white person as "a gringo" or "a whiteboy" to describe them when with others from your culteral background? If you say you never have, I do not believe you because I have been among ethnic groups and they say some pretty interesting things that if taken wrong could seem like racist comments. If you have, that's fine by me and why should I take it as racist for it is a fact that I am very very gringo and I am a whiteboy? If you did use such terms to describe a white person, were you intentionally being racist?
If you were offended, I apologized and made it clear that it was not my intent to offend or make racist remarks, and the fact is that I DID NOT make racist remarks. YOU TOOK IT THAT WAY. If you continue to be offended and want to keep making it a thing, it is your problem, no mine. What do you want now, a pound of flesh? whoops, another racist remark on my part.
Just knock it off, you are being silly . . . not because you are hispanic, but just because you ARE silly. What's the matter? The drama battery in your utility belt running low?

Xandria, I think you need to get a grip on your hypersensativity and stop accusing me of attacking someone because of race. That is PURELY your interpretation and it has nothing to do with the way I feel and what I really said.

I also think I am funny being a typical white guy. I can dance like a white boy dancing like a black man and I can moan the blues like a whiteboy doing a good job of sounding like a black man . . . I can laugh at my self and my culture, and I can appreciate the diversity of all races and accept people as people and I am beginning to resent your narrow minded view that I do not.
John Leguizamo is a fine example of one who laughs at his very funny hispanic friends and relatives. OMG, Dave Chappell is halarious when he points out what's funny about different ethnicities, including his own, and we all laugh too. Don't be a hypocrite. What's funny about your ethnic culture? I can also laugh at my uncle who is very very filipino. He does and says things that crack me up and are completely filipino. Even his own children poke fun at him and his ways. What makes you laugh about yourself? Nothing? Hmm, I am not buying it. God, stop twisting this thing into a thing. Get off your soapbox and go after a real racist.
I think living among and loving those south of the boarder for two years qualifies me to give an opinion as to what is funny or humorous about the culture. They all sure gave me a ration of humorous remarks about being American, and I took it in a positive humorous way. I was never offended or turned it into a race thing.
About 20% of my friends are white and the rest of whitedom bores the hell out of me. The rest make up a diverse group I love and respect. And we ALL sit and talk about the funny shit that folks from their culture do and say that is so typically them.
The JW lady was an ignorant moron because she was an ignorant moron. If I laugh at her, it is not our of anger, it is because I am laughing at myself for once being the same way while in the org. I am laughing at her because she thought seriously about Witnessing to an apostate picketer against the Society's strict rules against doing so. It was funny as hell in the context of the situation. Being hispanic had nothing to do with her being such a moron. She could read english or she would not have been attending a predominently white congregation. She was like "Charro hispanic" and we all know Charro is very very funny and she plays up what's funny about being hispanic to get laughs. God, how hard is it to make that distinction? She was the typical hispanic woman who comes over to this country, so obviously hispanic with the "nopal on her forehead" as you hispanics like to point out with so much disdain, pretending not be hispanic at all, and reviling anyone who may ask her about her culture. Every meet one of those? Those folks really do crack me up. It's as funny as a whiteboy from San Diego trying to be black. Yeah, I find that funny as hell.
