do you find yourself thinking about things more in depth than ever before?
hi there, as i am no longer allowed to use my evil ed avatar, i figured i may as well put my mug on here.
i decided to take a quick test run down to dallas to make sure i knew my way, and thought it would be a good scenic view for a photo.... anyway, here's the pic.

does the fact that incense is used in religious ceremonies and in spiritism mean that all incense-burning is wrong?
not necessarily.
Of course it is not a joke! We must not stumble anyone, ever! Even if they so dumb that they will be stumbled by someone burning incense. It would also be wise of us, that before building a house, we seriously and prayerfully consider whether we use wood in the construction. Would we really want to stumble our loving brothers and sisters by using the same material that the crucifix was constructed from?
In short, let us be humble, and use jack-sh*t, because it is all pagan and evil in some sense.
Good luck in finding anything to eat, build with, have fun with, have sex with, or air to breathe (you know how those pagans loved to breathe).

well, how was your week?
the ngo issue seems to be playing well (or should we say unwell) for the borg right now, and we've been able to meet more new posters on jwd.
no longer lurkers, they're beginning to see the truth about "the troof".
love_truth, in describing the utter dullness of jw assemblies and conventions, just gave me an interesting idea for a thread.
what were some of the ways you tried to make the hours pass?
some of mine: looking at the interesting refracting patterns the arena floodlights made on my eyeglasses when looking thru them at an angle.looking for people i knew from my congregation and others in the mass of people in the arena.counting the number of people leaving the section to go to the bathroompractice writing people's names in elvish scripthaving a conversation with friends a row behind me by passing notes back and forthseeing how many pages of my bible stick together when i slam a wad of gum in between its pages.. what else?
well yesterday was an awesome day.
sincerely,.

i was talking to a very good friend yesterday, and realized something that has been hinted on in a few other threads, but i think that this needs to be pointed out for the newbies and lurkers sake.. in the organization, we were told that if we left the "truth", then we would have nothing and no-one to go to, we would lose this worldwide brotherhood of over 6 million people.
many of us would lose our families.. but here, in cyberspace, we have all found something very special.
we have found this amazing place where we can voice our doubts, talk about our beliefs, be ourselves, and not have to worry that we will be cast out.
Ya wee b*st*rd!
Ya never mentioned yer "strangely religious" older brother, LittleToe!!!
LT, I'm sorry.. the words to describe you escaped me................
Thankyou very much Valis and Sunny.
And Ascot, how true your comments are. We certainly have all learnt a lot here.
Thanks all for your input!
