Did Woman get here by Evolution or by Rib?

when i was in the false one of the most important books was "did man get here by evolution or by creation?

" wherein the wt did a bang-up job of pulling their usual tricks in an effort to sound like they knew what they were talking about.. but i always wondered: what about women?

did they evolve, or were they formed from a rib?.

my 17 year old nephew is visiting from florida and to my surprise, last night in conversation, he revealed that for the last 2 years, he has come to realize that the watchtower society " is a bunch of bs" and that he can see how people are brainwashed in the organization.. interestingly, he has come to realize this, without knowing any of the facts and scandals that we all know about - he simply can see things don't add up.

naturally our conversation progressed to discuss the inconsistencies in the org which he had no idea about, and the flood gates were opened.... he now wants to read the ray franz's books, and get as much information as possible.. he told me that the young people in the hall are beginning to speak to each other about " the issues", while keeping these conversations away from the parent's ears.

sadly, my sister still expects and somewhat forces the kid to attend the meetings, but i told him that he should be wise and patient in the process of stepping away from the cult, to avoid too much collateral damage.. i often feared that the kid would be pressured into being baptized in the cult, but he seems determined to make sure that will never happen.

I find it amusing to deny them the one thing they want. They want to control me, force me to explain myself, make me conform to their rules and procedures. Sadly for them, they just don't have any leverage over me. I love knowing that they want something that I can choose to refuse to give them

We also have Brother Likes to Beat my Toddler and Brother Backstabbing Lying Cheat. Brother Golden Boy was deleted for cheating on his wife, Sister Nutjob. Brother Nice but Dumb stepped down because he couldn't handle the BS from the other elders. For Minsterial Servants, we have Brother Ambitious who is following closely in Brother Backstabbing Lying Cheat's footsteps, Brother Never Going to Make Elder is just treading water, Brother Deaf as a Post got deleted for playing the penny slots in Vegas, and Brother Chronic Food Poisoning stepped down due to health issues. He'd be OK if Sister Don't Eat Anything She Cooked would stop trying to kill him with her rancid bacon grease cookies.

Hilarious! I love some of the names people come up with, and yours are doozies!

For me it has to be Newhart since it is still so memorable and was so unexpected. Another unexpected ending was St. Elsewhere - can't say it was my favorite, however.
