Yesterday I reached a new milestone in my riding career - I completed my first "century" ride, topping out at 101 miles. I had hoped to get a century ride prior to TRAM, but it was unexpected to happen this soon.
After riding 60 miles I visited a friend, with the intention of riding the remaining 8 miles to home when I left. But I was feeling reinvigorated and fresh when I got on my bike again. The temperature was cool, there was low humidity, overcast skies, very light winds, and I was feeling like I got my second wind, so I thought why not try for those last 40 miles, and so I did.
Surprisingly, I'm not sore in the slightest, though I am a bit tired. Next ride is planned for Friday, weather permitting.

Why do I even care!?
by Bells infor those of you who dont know my story here it is in a nutshell: im not a witness and never have been.
in fact i barely knew anything about witnesses (other than they come and knock on your door when youre trying to have a sleep in!
) until i met - and fell in love with - a boy at school who happened to be a witness.

I like your new word. I thought of another new word - when kids get sparlocked because of their "magic" toys they have their imagicnations crushed (I hope that term hasn't already been coined).

I couldn't play with a toy because it had PLASTIC WINGS or a PLASTIC HORN?? Come on!! What's worse is when I did get one that had a horn, my mother sliced it off.
OMG, Morbid! What an awful thing for her to do and for you to witness.
NewChapter, I'm looking forward to your next video and watching as your skills, techniques, and imagicnation flower. Gee, maybe I just coined a new word, imagicnation. Whattya think? Sparlock has released children from the tyranny of cult thinking by setting their imagicnations free.

Thank you, Open mind. I'm pretty well saddle broke so that's not an issue. Wish there was something I could do to ensure good weather though. If it comes to choosing between riding in rain or wind I would choose rain. Hopefully neither will be a problem.

Is that ......... Sparlock on your shirt?
LOL! Yeah, it could easily be seen that way, but alas, it's only "Big Ole", the famous landmark in Alexandria, Minnesota depicting the Viking's discovery of America.
