THAT ^^^^^^ is a small sample size, not everything I know, and there's lots that I didn't know. Can you imagine the horrors that are perpetrated by Jehovah's Witnesses on a global scale?

Behind Closed Doors

i cried, and didn't go through with it.. behind closed doors, my next door neighbors, the family that "brought us into the truth" was yelling and screaming constantly.

Behind closed doors a large area of close JW families were abusing prescription drugs and if I knew it, others did too. Oh well.
Behind closed doors my wife's elder father would come home stressed from work, make up a reason to get one of the girls in trouble (usually my wife as she was the oldest), and find that excuse to hit someone smaller than him to relieve that stress. Afterward he wanted to play.
Behind closed doors a friend has panick attacks when around men, particularly one on one, after growing up a JW. The reasons should be fairly obvious.
Behind closed doors another large family of JWs that lived on a farm were swapping partners.
Behind closed doors lives millions of untold stories of the real Jehovah's Witnesses. What they show standing on the outside of closed doors while knocking on them is a facade.
Behind closed doors is where the stress of an inauthentic life as a JW that is keeping up appearances can come out to play. Behind closed doors are the tears, the scars, and the self-medicating from the real dub life. Behind closed doors is where the real impact of the cult is seen.

we your governing body are just responsible for serving it!
think about this people, they are saying it was jesus who told us the end was going to come in 1975. then before the 1914 generation passed away no later than the 1990's.

first non-witness affiliated visitor
by notalone ini know this is sad but last night was the first time we have had a non-witness affiliated visitor to my home.
we have had workmen and the such but never someone over for a meal and just visit.
it was very impromptu.

I'm really happy for you. We just finished work in our basement and are looking forward to having new friends come over to hang out, play pool, watch tv, eat, etc. It's exciting and fun to have people over that actually want to come over. JW "get togethers" have so much other stuff attached to them. I'm glad things went well and hope you do it more.

Whether anyone wins money or not, these lawsuits bring attention to the disgusting cult that is Jehovah's Witnesses, and it helps others to avoid falling prey to them.

she was just supposed to check heartbeats on the two little ones and they were going strong!
but because she had extra time and she can be quite anal about her work (which is a good thing) she decided to take some measurements.

I never said that there was anything wrong with starting the thread, I merely asked what was behind it and wondered if you had somewhere in particular you were going with it beyond the basic story. Like I said, it was tragic and sad. They didn't deserve that treatment. It was just a question, no offense intended. You posted with zero context and I was just seeking some to understand why this in particular at this time. I thought maybe something else inspired it in particular.
