  Did U know about the early white supremicist view of the JW's?

  i was shocked when i read info on the early views of the jw's toward blacks.

  read the website "watch the tower/blacks and the watchtower.".

But tying back to the notion that God mixed up the races and languages after the tower of Babel fiasco, I think the REAL question is this: were Adam & Eve black or white or asian or hispanic or what? Are we white folks the curse for the ambition of those who sought to reach the heavens by building a tower? *LOL*

  i thought it might be interesting to see where everyone is...home...work...someplace interesting?.

  i'm in the world trade center in boston, sitting looking out at boston harbor.

  i have to do a presentation today at the build boston show... a tradeshow for architects and builders.

  I get to watch TV in the bedroom when she's out of town ... maybe even fall asleep with it on ... and wake up to The History Channel in the morning! I can eat sardines without anyone complaining about my breath. I eat Swiss cheese and produce disgusting odors & noises without anyone waving their arms or crying "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU EAT, DAN??" I turn up the music as loud as I want ... whether it's Johnny Cash or Eminem or Bob Marley or Dwight Yokum or Billie Holliday or John Lee Hooker or The Offspring ... it's gonna rattle the windows. I can fry calimari without complaint. I can have beef for dinner.

  yep.....after 22 years, 19 of which i kept "hidden"...... i finally quit smoking!.

  my last butt was on the way to work on monday, valentines day.

  i remember saying to gwen i might bum a couple smokes off her cuz i didnt want to buy a pack and not finish it...i never did.

  Cool beans, man! Day three is a bear ... as are the next few. After a week or two, the craving dies off. If you've made it almost 2 months, you're home free. Just don't hang around with smokers too much, and fight that urge to bum one when you do.

  yall... i just was talking with arrowstar... she is sans job right now... .

  she told me that she is eating saltines and ranch dressing.. okay... i _know_ there's a boatload of ex-jws up there in dallas... yall think it might be possible to get her some real food?.

  thanks to all who responded to my thread last month!

  i had been busted for 79 in a 65 this ticket made ten in three states so i decided to fight it.

  with your help i had planned out a masterful defense that would have got charles manson off.

  You're absolutely right: speed makes all the difference.
  
  The state of Montana has no official highway speed limit. They do enforce a "reasonable & prudent" limit, which is somewhere in the 80 - 90 mph range. Forcing drivers into an artificially lower driving speed was killing more people than it saved.
  
  "In 1999, after 4 years of no numerical or posted daytime speed limit on these classifications of highways, outside of urban areas, Montana recorded its lowest fatality rate."
  
  "Research scientists and engineers have long known that there are sometimes unexpected results from changes in public policies. Ironically, the paradox of no posted speed limits and low fatalities is no surprise to the traffic safety engineering community."
  
  "For years, motorists' advocates have used engineering-based facts against artificially low speed limits.   Has anyone had a hard time getting over a romantic relationship?

  i was dating someone for 18 months before i broke it off--he didn't want a committment and he would not even say that someday we might end up together as a couple.

  it's been 2 years since we broke up and we both married other people.. i was deeply in love with this person, even with every last ounce of my soul.

  (it was complicated and we both had kids.

  I dunno, Love2. seems like at the core of a good relationship you have to love & support yourSELF in order to create a solid marriage. In this instance, I think loving yourself includes recognizing that it was best to walk away from your previous relationship. Enjoy the one you have.
