I've made up little laminated cards for my kids that I put in their pocket, or pin inside their clothes, if we go somewhere really busy like the big markets in the city or the zoo. It has their name, my name and my mobile phone number on it.

by Lehaa injust saw a great news report on how to protect you kids from predators.. it all revolves around a code word.. you and your kids agree on one.
if someone different is to pick your kids up you give then the code word.
if they don't know the word then the kids know that you did not send them.

Once a cheater always a cheater?
by Aalena ini caught my boyfriend of 8 years cheating on me about a month ago.
he claims it is the only time he has ever cheated and he never thought he would ever cheat nor would he ever do it again.
some of my friends are upset at me saying i should have left him immeditately.

The decisions are totally up to you, not your friends. You need to really think as to wether you can trust him again. Also I would be looking at the underlying reasons as to why he cheated, and was it a once off thing or a continuing affair.
I know he was caught but was he going to tell you, he may have been trying to tell you but was scared of your reaction.
I gan give you a lot more incite into what he may be going through if you want to PM me. ( to personal to put on the board)
Inevitably it is your decision and all the advice in the world is not going to fix your relationship or make you able to trust him again.

we are members of our local organization, received a kit for free and have our grandson registered and DNA stored...
Do you have the name of the organisation, maybe they can give me the name of someone in australia.

Any British TV watchers out there?
by wednesday ini used to be a big fan of british tv here in the states.
where, besides, pbs, can i see some of the great programs i used to watch?
i'm in texas around dallas, so if anyone knows what channel they might be on, please respond.

I remember one called, i think "butterflies are free" or something. the woman was going through "change" had teenagers, i think the hubby was a dentist-but i could be off. I'd just like to see reruns or any of it again
I remamber that show, the theme song was "love is like a butterfly" if that helps.
I love all the brittish shows, my dad's a pom.
Eastenders, the brittas, red dwarf (my mum just bought one of the series on DVD), the bill, Dr. Who, the two ronnies, love them all. Spent a lot of my childhood watching the ABC.
My favouries was The Goodies though.
Theres heaps more but i just can't remember them all.

Had Lunch with Prisca.
by Lehaa ini'm feeling really good today.. i had lunch with prisca yesterday, it was really great.
we talked about the reasons we both left the borg, it was really great to talk to someone face to face about everything.
the best thing is she only lives 10 minutes away from me, how great is that.. she moved to melbourne about 12 months ago.
