14 years later- still a wreck! What's up with me!

which was a lovely thing to say, and made me feel 'valued' (thanks listener!).
but, you know, 14 years on, and there are times, when i feel like i just left.. i took the children to the pictures yesterday (to see 'wallace & grommit').

Yeah, kinda know how you feel.
I go along fine, even at times forget I was ever a witness, (big thing to say since I was born in and was a witness for 30 years, only been out for 18 months), till oi bump into a witness at the shops ans i get the look. you know that scowl they give you, like you're a murderer or something. Just makes me feel weird and guilty for some reason.
Seems like the brain washing still has'nt worn off.
Must be so much harder for you, it being you're mother and all.
All I can say is you're children are a credit to you, realisig what a hypocrite you're mother is ans choosing to stand by you.
Good for them.

Grrrr Why I hate baking
by Lehaa ini hate to bake, can never get it right.. i can cook briliantly, ask me to cook a gouret meal for 100 people and i can do it, no problems, no sweat.. but get me to bake a cake, can't do it, flop every time.. foe example, just put 12 muffins in the oven.
(my partner, andy, was gonna do them but he hurt his back today and has been laid up on the couch all day, major pain killers.
so i thought i'd do them).

So i mixed up the batter, followed the directions exactly. All was fine till i filled up the muffin pans. Spilled mess all ove rthe tray underneath the pans. Grrrrr. Should have doubled up on the pans, they are the paper type. Sides fell out and the muffin mix spilled everywhere.
So I just threw them all in the oven, spilled mess and all. Oh well, some mught turn out, as long as i have a few to put in the kids lunches in the morning.
Think next time i'll leave the baking to Andy.

This is so wrong !!!!!!!
by lola28 inmy god i can't believe what i just saw.. i was on the website for my local police dept.
and saw a link they had for a website that listed sex offenders.
i clicked on it and put in my zip code, i could not believe how many sex offenders live in my area, what is worse is that i know two of those listed and i never, ever would have thought that they could be a danger to children.. what bothers me so much is that many of these offenders commited crimes against children, i would say that a good 90% of those listed had been convicted of molesting children.how do these people live knowing what they have done?

I know, It's terrible the way sex offenders can walk around free.At least in the states you know where they are, in Australia there is no such register.
I think the register is a part of Megans law, named after a little girl who was kidnapped, raped repeatedly, murdered and dumped.
