What new fruits/veggies/foods have you tried? We tried Pepino Melon...yum!
by FreedomFrog ineach shopping trip, i get one new veggie/fruit or new dish and we (me and the kids) will taste test things.
we've found many things we've liked doing this.
tonight we just tried a pepino melon and it was very good.

Have you ever been to Jungle Jim's in Fairfield? They have every type of fruit and veggie known to man, from exotic places all over the world. It is definitely worth the trip there!

For the past couple of years here in Dallas, I have been seeing prickly pears. They are called Tunas in spanish, and they are the fruit off of cactus plants. A couple of months ago, I decided to try some, and now I am hooked. I crave them, and eat several of them a day. They have an unusual taste, and are very sweet. I now consider it my favorite fruit, besides fresh figs.

by str8?so is spaghetti..until you heat it up inas we all know, i have been a little sick (or as some of you may know).
which has led to less sparkle.

Another new guy from TX
by Texman55 inhowdy all, i just happened to be in your neighborhood and thought i'd ring your doorbell to tell you the good news about jehovah's kingdom, and if you don't believe every damn word of it you're going to die a horrible death real soon m*th*rf*ck*r thought i'd say howdy.. like it says on my profile, i wasted my vulnerable teen years in the watchtower bible and crap society, and it nearly killed me.
funny thing is, i wasnt coerced into it by my family, they were all worldly (well except for a very eccentric old great uncle that nobody liked or visited) and thought i was out of my fucking mind to join up with that jw shit.. which i was.
understandably, because my parents drank too much, there were truly horrible fights every night at home, a very bitter divorce when i was 10, and only child me was trapped in the middle of all that with no one to turn to.

Maybe you could give it to the Cancer Society. They accept hair to make wigs for those who have lost their hair due to chemo. Waist length hair could make a couple of nice wigs! You could call your local chapter to see where to donate it...

My Marriage just ended I feel so sick and stressed please help me. Serious.
by Witness 007 inmy wife and i split from the witnesses about 2 years now....and now she says we need a divorce asap!
she doesn't want to work thru it.
lately and for awhile she has been amazingly aggressive to me.....and pretty much everyone else she knows.

I am not very good at words, but please know that there are many here including myself that are thinking of you. It is very hard when a relationship ends, and I hope you find the strength to work through this. Have you called your Doctor? I know that meds. aren't always the answer, but there are times when antidepressants can help a person through very difficult times. They work for me. Your Doctor could give you some insights as to what is best for you. Therapy can also help, just being able to talk to someone can work wonders. It will be a long road to recovery, but you WILL eventually start healing. Maybe try PM'ing Lady Lee, I really respect her, and I am sure she can give you some ideas for coping mechanisms.
