  Hi! Peace to you Shelby and all! I talked to Snowbird, She is Okay. She asked me to tell you all that she misses you! Her computer is broken at the moment and she has been under the weather lately. She told me she will be back as soon as she can, and that she appreciates all of the well-wishes!

  Sylvia is such a sweet Lady, and I feel bad that she is under the weather. I can say that sometimes being here and seeing some of the negative things said here can make even the strongest person feel bad. It can cause people to become depressed. I ask for peace, LOVE, empathy and fairness from everyone on this board so that when Sylvia does come back, she as well as everyone will feel strength when coming here. After all, JWN is here as a tool so we can heal from our hurts, and not as a place to inflict further pain.

  I am sorry that you too Shelby have had to deal with your unfair share of negative comments here.

  Should there be restrictions on who can donate blood?

  found this article on a "gay like" man that was refused and it got me to wondering..i really didn't know the rules!.

  an indiana man says a blood donation center rejected him as a donor because he appears to be gay--even though he isn't.. .

  I have not been able to donate blood because I am Gay. Twice I have tried to, and the first time they assumed I was Gay because I was not wearing a wedding band. The second time I was with a male friend, and we were again told that Gay people were not allowed to donate blood. The second time I even had my recent test results (less than 2 weeks old) that showed I am HIV negative and they said it still doesn't matter that since I am Gay I cannot donate. Nice how again they automatically assumed that I was Gay. I guess I gotta get that Q tattoo removed from my forehead...

  Please don't take things personally that other people say. I have done that in the past and it doesn't do me any good.

  One thing I have noticed out of the 8 good bye threads you have posted during your time here is that most people keep begging you to stay, so that should show you how much you are cared for by most people!!! You are a nice lady, please consider all of the many, many good things posted about you, and if someone eventually does say something negative, it may just be an accident, and not always meant to cause you pain.

  You can take a couple of night classes with your wife-ie; flower arranging, pottery, photography, etc. something that you both enjoy, and you will find others there who share some of the same interests as you both do, and you can make some friends that way. There are other creative ways to make decent friends in a neutral environment, you just have to look. I do understand how you feel though. It can seem very lonely right after leaving the org.

  Are you moving there, or going on vacation? Either way, have a great time! My partner and I are looking at properties in Northern Georgia/Southern Tennessee around the Blue Ridge area, which is nestled right in the mountains. We live in Dallas now, and we hate the crowds, so we are looking to live in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by wild animals and few people!

  yesterday we were getting our van repaired and while that was going on we decided to window shop at a really cool furniture consignment shop.

  i saw a baker's rack that was really nice and that i would love to have.

  hubby looked at it too and thought it was a nice piece but we had to leave the shop to pick our van.

  after reading the thread about remote viewing, let's make some predictions for the next 5 - 10 years and see how many we get right.

  i'll start it off by predicting things that are no-brainers.

  i predict that within the next 10 years:.

  1) It will be discovered that Betty White is the Antichrist.

  2) Scientists will find a way to capture a cows released methane, and it will be labeled as a beauty product called "Fartox" which will rid society of crow's feet.

  3) A long lost Matisse painting will be found, presumably his last, titled "Le Poo Poo Finale" which was rumored to have been painted the day after after a visit to his favorite Mexican Restaurant located just one block from the Louvre.

  4) Jay Leno's Chin will fall off after doing a rendition of Osama Bin Laden tap dancing to the tune of the opening title sequence to the Patty Duke show.

  5) Anthony Weiner will resign from politics, only to be made spokesperson for Oscar Mayer's new release, which consists of a foot long hotdog with a big mushroom at the end.

  I know these are kind of dumb, but I am in a weird mood tonight....
