back in the 1960's early 70's i remember my congregation going on a witch hunt and making a list of products, ice creams, confectionary or anything that might contain blood!.
i remember one zealous brother asking an ice cream vendor if the ice cream contained blood.
the vendor just looked gone out!.
We weren't allowed to have Jack in the Box Milkshakes because of the blood rumour, and when I lived in Winnipeg, most hot dogs were off limits though I usually wouldn't eat them anyway as I knew too much about how they were produced as well as the ingredients....

Yes, tomorrow will be a day of rememberance for us. We made sure to have nothing planned, not even a trip to the store. Best of all, no longer being a JW, I will be putting up a new 3x5 flag in the flag holder, and also will be hanging a 5x8 antique 48 star flag that was made in 1942, although it will only be out for a couple of hours due to the age. I love having a patriotic feeling, and I think the US flag is one of the most beautiful around, and I feel proud being able to use it as a symbolic tribute to those who perished, not only on 9/11, but all who have needlessly lost their lives over the years.

I likewise have a feeling in my gut that something may happen. As to when would be anyone's guess. I think that it could come a day before, or a day or two after, as the terrorists may think that everyone is expecting it on 9/11, so they would try to surprise people by doing it on another day close to 9/11 to catch more people off guard.
I sincerely hope nothing happens.
