  Since JW's Believe in Re-Creation...

  as we know jw's believe in re-creation based on the appearances of jesus after his death and resurrection.

  jesus appeared in different bodies but had the same personality and power.

  it would only take a short time of being around the re-created jesus to be able to tell it was him.. my question is what do jw's believe consciousness is?

  hi.. just wondering what made you take the final leap out of the org?

  was it doctrinal in that certain things just didnt add up or was it because of the actions of people in the org.

  Whenever you buy something new, do you take an extended warranty?

  i hardly ever take an extended warranty.

  call me cheap, but something new shouldn't break.

  and if it does, the 1 year coverage should be enough to make sure i didn't buy a lemon.. many say that companies make their money with additional warranties, and that you're better off not taking it and paying for the repair if ever there is one to be made.. when i see a 27 tv at 250$ compared to 700$ 10 years ago, i won't pay for an additional warranty.

  my jw mom lives in nyc and she said that her cong.

  gave out forms from the borg.they want to know where each person would go for refuge in case of a disaster like katrina.

  it was suggested that each make arrangements to stay with a relative,(no objection to wordly company there), a friend,(yes, like they have any), or another jw who lives away from the city.
