  my names mike, and i'm a university student in the uk.

  recently i discovered a close friend of mine is a jw, and after she told me a little about the religion, i have decided to look deeper in to it, as i find it interesting and something which i want to know a lot about.

  Very weird dream. JW action figures? WTF?

  i woke up this morning just after having the oddest dream that i've ever had.

  i dreamed that i created a jw action figure set and saw the commercial for it.. here is the commercial as i remember it:.

  "new from hasno toys, jehovah's witness action figures with real door knocking action and sound!".

  Congrats for making it this far.

  You want advice? ... O K ... This is what I got........

  Get a pen and paper and write down where you want to be in 10 years. With ,... money, ... travel, ... home, ... job, ...influence.

  What ever is important to you, .. Write it down.!

  Now decide who you want to be, ... AND ... this is important, ... As you make decisions YOU control your life, no one else.

  As YOU make decisions, ... they are yours. YOUR decisions, .. make you live your life for you.

  Boy its hard for teenaged JW's

  i had to come home early from work today because a 17 year old girl came over to me and was all upset she asked if she could come up and visit with my wife and i. she said the brothers are always picking on her and she can not do anything right.

  i asked,what have you done she said nothing every time it is some one making things up and she is tired of even trying any longer.

  teenagers come from over all the area they they know they can come and talk to us and we will not judge them.

  Please be careful. ..... I have seen this happen. ... A reputation could be established that you are entertaining the youth.

  And it only take one of them, .. to, .. slightly, ... twist, ... anything, ... said, .. or action, .. on your part to raise an eyebrow of one elder.

  All of a sudden, ... questions are asked to many others, ... to start a little gossip, and, the words, Where there's smoke, there's fire.

  Now begins the rocky road.

  I have seen this happen more than I can count. On the surface, you are doing a good thing.
