I guess I have what most people would consider a "good job". I am in senior management for a Fortune 500 company, with a specialty in sales. The money is good, the politics suck, and after over 20 years in corporate America, I am sick of making money for someone else and not having control of my life.
This year is the year that I am going to start my own venture and work for myself.
I am a little nervous about it and of course I want to continue to live the lifestyle I have come accustomed to, but I am confident that with a lot of hard work, I can suceed.
I should have done this a long time ago, but since I drank the Kool Aid of the "lie", and the "the End Was Near", I didn't want to devote the time needed to make it on my own.
