An English teacher??? Uh...no...
I would not let anyone who wrote like that teach my child. I've requested that my child change teachers after hearing ONE instance of bad grammar from the teacher or ONE misspelled word on a note home....

tropical storm jeanne threatens puerto rico, hurricane javier pounds mexico .
2 hours, 47 minutes ago add science - afp to my yahoo!
san juan, puerto rico (afp) - tropical storm jeanne crashed ashore in densely populated puerto rico, killing two people, dumping heavy rains and flooding low-lying areas, authorities and local media said, as hurricane ivan raged toward the us coast.
Xandria,
I'm on the coast of Virginia, sort of on the Chesapeake Bay. Remember Hurricane Isabel? We got slapped by that one and now it seems that Jeanne might head our way. I'm praying for all the folks south of us who are getting clobbered too.
My sister in law got part of the flooding in downtown Richmond VA. She lost her car in the flood.
Hoping it all just goes away!

southwest florida is still reeling from charley.
now another one, frances, is on the way and all forida is "holding its breath.
" we need your prayers that this storm not be as destructive as forecasters are predicting.
Will be praying! We're not out of the "danger zone" either here on the coast of VA. We just had Gaston go through and wreak havoc on downtown Richmond.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you down there. May you all be safe.
Remember, houses and stuff can always be replaced...lives can't. Don't worry about the "stuff"...
