that used to really scare me!
There was a few in OH. They dint yell. I was just starting to fade, and I wanted to pick a fight with them. In fact, that was most of my daydream as the talks went on and on.
It really upset me, that they had the nerve. But remember, early "witnesses" were said to go to churches and try to convert people...So..."two-shay"?

Funny. The way I get it, a single witness can drink himself silly with no witness to the "crime". But having two witnesses, both will be on best behavior, and wont drink as much...nice..

if your like me, you had been active, and had been recieving the magazines at the counter, every week.
then we start missing meetings, then disappear.
Unlike other magazines, like PC Magazine, my stacks Watchtower magazines have not been read thru. I know my pioneer parents would have bunches left over, yet never did I see them throw them away, even after they studied them! Interesting.
were any of you the really obnoxiosly loud singer at the meeting?
that always used to make me laugh when somone who couldn't sing just belted it out in their horrible voice.
or i used to love the husband and wife duos that thought they were all that as they sat and tried to harmonize.
seems like the visiting CO was all about getting the congregation to sing louder. He was fanatical about it, waving his hands in a "raise" gesture during the songs. People would sing a little louder.
I was a loud singer. We moved from a loud singing cong. to a soft cong. and I was so dissapointed, I wanted to belt the songs out, but that would make me look stupid...oh well...

I am with you on this one! A many Tuesday and Thursday night, and Sunday Morning I have rejoiced in this thought.
Remembr dressing up AFTER work, driving to the KH, talking w/ppl you would never really normally talk to, sit quietly bored, w/small children for two hours or so, talk again to the same ppl, drive home.....then rest....arrgg... repeat...
It is good to reflect on what your "missing"...
df'd ones are asked to sit in the back row at the hall.
although i was never df'd, i always sat in the back because i felt more comfortable back there.
i never did participate much anyways so i sat in the last row or before last.
Worst thing is coming in late on Sunday, and the back is filled up, so you have to go to the front rows, with small children...why did I quit going again???

ahh...Now I dont feel so bad about that... I was really considering calling the magazine brother, and telling him to stop my "order" but then that would lead to the WHY??? Then the D'fn...cant have that right now....
