pretty easy. Go for it!
1. I cant stand to look in the mirror coz I get better lookin each day... 2. My pappy was a pistol, I'm a son of a gun... 3. Little things I should have said and done but I never took the time 4. and there's only one race and that's mankind...
anyone on here have a "most embarrasing witness moment" from childhood?
mine is from 7th grade- that was 20 years ago- but i still cringe when i think of it.
almost too hard to write down- but maybe it will be therapeutic & part of the healing process?
To All of you: I never was a JW but have such empathy for what you must have gone thru as kids. I remember just some of the normal, stupid, embarrassing events of childhood....I had freckles, was taller than all the other girls (and boys), and suffered my share of embarrassment. I cannot IMAGINE what it was like for you.
I would never forgive those ignorant, uncaring teachers who did nothing to help you feel normal. Shame on them.

Mac, #2...MacArthur's Park, never ending dribble of whatever :-)
The other two are soooo familiar!
i have just learned that there was another jw suicide in western washington (south king county) last weekend.
the man was a young adult, in good standing, married and doing well financially.
i can't reveal more, and this one didn't hit the news either.
So sad when anyone sees suicide as the final way out. I hate to hear of anyone feeling so desperate, JW or not.
However, In our very small community, there have been 2 tragic JW suicides by young people...one young teenage girl shot herself in the high school bathroom, due to all the pressure from dating a nonJW. Tragic. I don't think the family attends anymore. They came to their senses a little too late.
