  the kids are off at their mom's for a scheduled visit.

  i come home from work at 2am in the morning and unexpectedly find them all sound asleep in their own beds.

  there have been no incidents, no problems .

  Do you trust JW's?

  i guess i'm asking in more of a business aspect?

  or in any kind of dealings with them.....for example, because of their morals honesty is "supposed" to be practiced.

  would you hire one because of this?

  Each person should be judged up on their own merit. I do agree with Gumby, to an extent...I have not had the best experiences, but I am not putting all JW's in the same pot yet.

  a month ago i started a part-time job at a restaurant.

  one night a couple of weeks ago the man from the kh who reads from the study book came in and ordered some buffalo wings to go.

  we have a daily special wings for 25 cents each.

  I just noticed that he didn't pay with any quarters. Most people who are broke or using up change pay in quarters. I have been serving for quite a few years and have never had anyone pay thier tab in dimes and nickels. I save my change up and just before Christmas cash it in for gifts. I really adds up at the end of the year. I rarely use coins to buy anything knowing that my spare change is going towards something.

  A month ago I started a part-time job at a restaurant. One night a couple of weeks ago the man from the KH who reads from the study book came in and ordered some buffalo wings to go. We have a daily special wings for 25 cents each. He ordered 6 of them and paid in dimes and nickels. How awful I felt for him. A well respected man of his congregation not being able to pay for wings in dollar bills. I can understand being broke...I have been there done that, but something made me truly sorry for him. I heard him giving a talk just weeks before about college being a form of religion. Now, his own religion keeping him from his full-earning potential. What a shame.

  if so, why would jw's continue to use them as part of a marriage ceremony in jehovah's eyes?.

  Only the most hurtful rules apply. If they allow these "pagan" holidays, then it will be easier to socialize with non-JW's...Oh the horror of it all!!!
