I think most of us do this in many areas of life. How many people stay in horrible relationships, telling the other person they love them when it's not true, just familiar? I know I have.

Is it true, or just familiar?
by Markfromcali inthis is a simple enough comparison, but i think it's a question worth asking with a thread of it's own, even if it's just for the sake of reminder.
whether it's believing the jws or anything, do we notice whether it is what's reasonable and makes sense, or is it just 'agreeable' because it's familiar and comfortable?
obviously the latter wouldn't be a wise choice.

Conan is funnier on a regualr day but nothing is funnier than Jay Leno's $0.99 Christmas. Did anyone see it last year? The Chiness Jump Lope? (no spelling error there) I couldn't stop laughing and telling people about it.

Get Your Holy Ass Off My Sandwich

got there a hour and a half late but made it none-the-less.
anyway, when the lunch break started i took my daughter to go for a pee before we ate and when i came back some woman was sitting on my seat, right on top of my lunch bag!

Now, I know all too well the mishaps that can happen when you have a big butt, but it was a sandwich from the freakin' corner store! Complete with big hard-plastic container! Not to mention my bottle of water, etc., etc. She damn well knew she was sitting on my lunch! So I said "Uh, excuse me, I think you're sitting on my lunch." She acted shocked (!!!!) and said "Oh sorry, I hope I didn't squish it too much." No b**ch, don't worry, it's fine.
