  Can someone here explain to me if the owners of the WT penns. (legal and monetary entity) are

  paid? In what sense are they owners/board members?

  I heard from my father-in-law, that when his brother goes to the annual shareholders

  meeting in Jersey City, they give a financial report for a brief period in order to be OK with

  the law?

  Any explanations would be appreciated

  i realize many (or all) of the ex-j.w.

  's in this forum have either gotten out of the org., faded, or in some way have come to the conclusion that the watchtower is not the "faithful and discreet slave", and is not the "true" religion that they claim to be.

  i am curious to know..... "what made you see the light"?.

  Forgot the link, but there was a guy who had taped the entire

  elder training school. He put in on the net for download *.mp3

  he was claiming that the society was sending too much traffic his way

  on purpose to literally keep him down? Back then he was looking for

  volounteers to help him with the prob.

  Hopefully this cannot be done, and therefore to jwd

  I know times are tough for some people but there's no way this circuit lost 30% of its followers because they had to move for work or whatever.They are getting fed up,worn out,tired of being lied to and constantly told to do more.More and more,we hear of people doing stupid things just to break free and be left alone.

  I'll be very happy when they close the doors for good!

  problems with jw daughter-in-law

  i haven't been here in awhile and i'd like to say hi once again.. i have written what i am about to tell once posted it and it disappeared,must have hit the wrong button.so here i go again.

  over a period of time my grandson who is 15 has been making regular contact to my youngest son (who is his uncle)they talk about what teens talk about,football and music,cal my grandson has also been allowed to stay over once in a while,which i might add surprised me a little,you know staying with his worldly gran, his mum is a jw and my eldest son cals dad is almost one you could say.. anyway since cal has been staying over at our house he has opened up about a lot of things none that were instigated by me i must add.he said he dosen't want to be a jw he hates it and his mum and dad have been hitting him quite hard.i believe him because his mum has always been heavy handed since he was a young baby,i did threaten her once after i heard she had knocked cal to the floor hitting him when he was about 3yrs because he said ' oh god ' has kids do sometimes,my young daughter was there at the time and she told me.

  not long after that they left the village,after sometime normality resumed with our family and we got back on speaking terms.. cal has always been rebellious and i know his mum has always hit him and now he is 15 he is questioning more and fighting back so i quess he is in more trouble.then about a month ago my young son had a distressing phone call from cal he was sobbing and asking if he could come and stay he had some clothes packed so i spoke with cal and asked if he had been hit again and he said yes very hardbecause he forgot to say a prayer before the meal and his mum lashed out at him.

  Questions on Adam & Eve?

  it has been a long time since i opened a bible but these questions keep coming up in my head so i thought i would ask our all knowing here.

  according to the bible adam & eve ate the forbidden fruit and became embarrassed of their bodies so they covered up.

  this makes no sense since they had been naked and where having sex so why were they embarrassed?

  according to the bible adam & eve ate the forbidden fruit and became embarrassed of their bodies so they covered up.

  Lets continue on and see how more stupid it gets:

  Cain killed Abel, did God kill him like he did with others? Seems like it was

  a known law amongst God's people back them about the eye/eye thingy!

  No, he put a mark on Cain, and People who did bad to him were to be punished!

  Quest #1: Did not Adam have other children? What purpose would have done to save him?

  Quest #2: If Adam/Eve were forefathers to all, then why would cain need a mark? Would not everyone around

  be sisters, brothers, children, nephews, nieces, etc? They would all know him, huh?

  Abel sacrificed animals to God (he was accepted) Cain sacrificed fruits (he was not accepted)

  According to many including JW's people did not eat flesh before the flood?

  Adam / Eve believed the lies of the Devil, thus making God a liar

  Thus you have to reason, did they fully understand deception? Did they make a decision

  with full knowlege? For the answer look at the tree (Tree of knowledge).... Come to a conclusion?
