i intend for this to be one of a series of bite-sized ops on the evidence for evolution.. introduction to dna genes are sequences of dna made up of words (codons) each of which are three letters (bases) long.

there are only four letters in the genetic alphabet (acg&t) each word or codon is the recipe for one amino acid.

there are 20 different amino acids in living organisms.

This page goes into very great detail as to why this is an incredible confirmation of one important part of the modern evolutionary theory: common descent.

If there are 10^93 different aminoacid combinations that yield a functional cytochrome C, why then, can you make a relationship between the different species, just based on the tiny differences in this molecule?

The evidence clearly points to common descent.

Just from leukemia it can be estimated that 1000 witnesses die every year... But you still have to include severe accidents eith major blood loss, and giving birth... Situations where blood is still necessary.

Rutherford and William Jennings Bryan

does anyone know where it mentioned that rutherford was involved in william jennings bryan's presidential campaign(s)?

also, i recall reading that rutherford said bryan was god's choice as president for the usa!

if that was so, then it is very strange that bryan was never elected president!.

i have known all of them over the last 15 years, talked at length with them, and knew what their wishes were, the copyright holder and spouse spent even more time with them socially and helping them set up their arrangements for when ray and cynthia passed.

i don't believe that anyone else on this board or others was a confidant.

there is no need to prove it to anyone but the copyright office which is satisfied with this.
