translating jwfacts into spanish has made me critically analyze pretty much everything paul has written.

i would say paul is right 90%+ of the time.

some things are just things that are outdated, on other occasions, things are partially right and just need to be tweaked.anyhow... one of the articles is "where else would i go"?since i am an atheist, ideally, for me, the answer would be "become at least agnostic, if not atheist, and lead an evidence-based life".

Ok, but how would you know if you're going into these groups that they're NOT going to meet the BITE model?

That would be an option if they really weren't BITE-ers as you say.

Do you know of any churches that teach non-orthodox christian beliefs, such as no trinity, no hellfire, soul sleep, etc... and which could not be considered cults using the BITE model?

I know of plenty of healthy christian churches that would not be in any way considered cults in the BITE model, but they are orthodox. Examples: a typical catholic church, a liberal, non-fundamentalist baptist church, etc... These teach the existence of God, the Trinity, hell, etc... but are pretty liberal environments...

the second astronomer royal of edinburgh was charles piazzi smyth (jan. 1819 - feb. 1900).

smyth was a man of many and varied interests including meteorology, producing weather observations that still form an important part of uk climate records to this day.. building on the work of james taylor, smyth became fascinated by the great pyramid of egypt at giza.

jaydee ,I must have mis-read your post or got the wrong impression with your thumbs up on vienne `s comment ,who by the way querys the pyramid as being associated with C.T.Russell.?
Also if I`m not mistaken ,I loveTTATT2 also doesnt seem to believe that the pyramid is associated with C.T.Russells gravesite.,how many more ? I dont know

Yes. Vienne commented on the inaccuracy of a small part of Cofty's OP. Cofty's OP said that the pyramid was Russell's tomb. It's not. It's a monument that is close to the tomb, but not the tomb itself. It was built some years after Russell died. I was NOT in any moment saying that there is no relationship between Russell and the pyramid. Russell was obsessed with the pyramid and based many of his predictions on measurements of it. So it was appropriate that his followers made a pyramid shaped monument NEAR his tomb some years after his death. Cofty lashed out at Vienne for pointing this out.

Orangeburg Assembly Hall - designed to be sold as a future supermarket?

i've just been watching a youtube video that reveals the new assembly hall in orangeburg, sc.. two things struck me when watching it.... firstly, everything is attributed to jehovah, right down to deciding the location where the hall is to be built.

"we examined over 300 properties," said one interviewee, "we were reminded that jehovah knew where the site was, we just had to keep looking and show him that we were persistent.

" other workers interviewed throughout the video attribute everything to god, as though it is impossible to build anything without divine direction.. here is the video.... .

You said that the pyramid is Russell's tomb, it is not.

She pointed that out and you lashed out at her.
