  Hi Talesin, it´s ok. People like you (the "outliers," aka the "exception to the rule") are very useful for statistics. But given 1000 people, you won't really have an effect on the average or the trend. What I see on the trend is that the variability is reducing.... i.e. some people who came in the 70's woke up faster than others, but the average was higher than now, and now, the average is much smaller and almost everyone is waking up at around the same time in.

  I want as much data as possible on the effect of the internet on the time captured by the cult.

  2) when were you baptized/started seriously being with the witnesses? (Date please, i.e. 1997)

  3) when did you leave/woke up completely? (date please, i.e. 2013)

  I think this would be an interesting stat that has never been done before. I am certain that the results will be that the internet significantly reduces time in for everyone. A graph of "time in" vs year would be very insightful. I am sure that there will be more "lifers" in previous generations, and much less now.

  I have tried this with another group on Facebook called exJW Recovery Group 3, and my own Facebook page in Spanish. So far, I have had about 60 responses and a clear trend can be seen, but I would like to have one thousand (1000) responses to have some very solid data.

  Your help with this will be greatly appreciated!

  it's easy to get down and disheartened about depressing world events.. it's important to remember that the good guys outnumber the bad guys, they just don't make the headlines as often.. so here's a nice story:.

  on sunday, 11-year-old tontrevion campbell went to church with his mom.. at the same time, police say, burglars entered his home and broke one of the commandments.. as the memphis police department describes it on its facebook page: "the thief or thieves stole several of his mom's items, but they also stole the young man's xbox game system and every single game that this 11-year-old owned.".

  The Ages Of The Biblical Patriarchs

  so i've been reading the imitate their faith book (because my wife wants to) and keep coming upon these ridiculous ages for the bible patriarchs.

  now i know wt takes everything literally but there has got to be some explanation that makes more sense.

  why would the bible writers create these obviously false ages?

  Did you know that the ages are completely different in the Septuagint than in the Masoretic text?

  If you add up all of the patriarch's ages, in the Septuagint you end up with almost 2000 years extra!!

  i'm doing a survey and i think i've got most of those writing in english covered.

  then there's gerard gertoux and a few others in french, furuli from norway, matteo pierro in italian, johannes wrobel and others in german.

  As Hilde said, Testigo Humano. I know he visits this site... it's fairly obvious since things that are originally only on this site "somehow" end up on his.

  He runs a website called "Replies to Professional Apostasy".

  Not really a scholar, just really bad attempts at defending the WT. Very easy to disprove.

  Unlike Furulli or Stafford, which, it seems like they actually have a good defense.

  I know of no one else really in the Spanish side of things.
  
  As to your question, MOST DEFINITELY, Spanish is THE largest language in the JW world. In fact, Spanish speaking JW's outnumber English speaking ones almost 2 to 1.

  this is a new video put out by the borg.

  i have nothing to say negative about it actually.

  it's only 2:34 minutes long and helps you learn the books of the bible and the basic contents of them and is done very well.

  I'd rather have my kids memorize actually useful things... instead of the names of "books" of a very disgusting book once you actually read it. That book has led to so many people being killed, manipulated, beaten, etc...

  I just found out that my youngest brother committed suicide

  my middle brother called me a couple of hours ago.

  our youngest brother, josh, who was 38, was found by his friends in his apartment.

  he hung himself.

  No more printing of WT and Awake in my country.. Shit just got real

  guys .

  a letter was just read in out kh stating that all printing of wt and awake is ceased for the coming year and we will just place tracts on fs, countries which were cared by our branch will be cared by other countries...along with this they read the new fs form and stuff about reporting links of videos wtf..lol.

  i can't tell which country perhaps that will give away a lot, any one with a similar information.
