  for an incredible amount of topics (vaccinations, worship of jesus, among others), the 1954 bound volume of the watchtower in spanish would be incredibly valuable to me.. does anyone have a scan of it or could send/sell it to me?.

  The problem that I have is that there is no correlation between English and Spanish bound volumes before 1984, so an article that was printed on November 1953 in the English version will end up being in Spanish on mid 1954 but I would have no idea when specifically.

  Now that I looked it up, it seems like it will be either in 1952, or 1953, or 1954:

  The clergy of Christendom that believe in a trinity as the main doctrine of Christianity will answer with a positive Yes to this question. Quite to be expected, for they believe that worshiping Jesus is at the same time worshiping God the Father and God the Holy Spirit, for these three they believe to be Three Persons mysteriously making up one God. The King James Version of the English Bible was rendered by trinitarian translators, and doubtless for this reason the translators rendered the Greek word proskyne′ō by the word “worship,” when applying to Jesus.   False equivalence. You can't drop being gay. You can drop religious beliefs if you want to. Stopping a person from entering a plane because they're gay would be wrong. Stopping a person from entering a plane because they believe that they have a duty to kill infidels in the plane... well... that's just common sense!!
  
  There is a site called The Religion of Peace, which is sort of like a "jwfacts" for Islam... Essentially what they advocate is the same solution that would combat JW's: KNOWLEDGE! Spread knowledge of Islam and how bad it really is, so that hopefully less and less people join it!

  Movies I'm Watching

  i have, for about 6 months now, been trying to watch every single movie that was "cool" or interesting since 1960.it started out with a desire to watch as an adult all disney movies.

  then it morphed into all bond movies (except for the non-canonicals).now it's turned into pretty much any and all movies.

  here is my list, scratched out are ones i have seen, green are recent next-in line.turns out there was a lot i had never seen before, about 70% because of the cult restrictions!

  Found "Precious" to be the most painful to watch movie I have ever experienced. Wow. Cried so much...

  I concur with wizzstick... don't dissasociate. You've hit the jackpot by being allowed to fade and not be DF'd and still keep your wife.

  Please do read Steven Hassan's books, such as Releasing the Bonds and Combatting Cult Mind Control BEFORE you try anything with your wife!! Trying to wake up someone is very, very tough, and there are a million wrong ways of doing it!

  I can only imagine the pain you must feel of all those wasted years. We all feel this. Even those who woke up "young"... I think everyone who wakes up wishes they had done so earlier.

  I got a non-response response from the KoP:
  
  "Regarding J. F. Rutherford, the records I have regarding past members of Golden Gate #91 (Boonville, MO) only go back to the 1950's - those that go further back are currently in a storage facility in west-central Missouri and I do not have immediate access to them. I will be at that facility in mid-April and will have your request with me - should I find that there was a member named Joseph Franklin Rutherford during that period, I will inform you as to what I found. Sorry I cannot be of more help, thank you."
  
  We will have to wait until April for that then. I am still waiting for the Boonville Advertiser newspaper clippings I ordered.

  Movies I'm Watching

  Just finished Brokeback Mountain. I would have never watched it as a JW, and even if I had watched it as a JW, I would have had vastly different reactions to it.
  
  As a JW, I would have probably stopped the movie half-way.
  
  As an exJW, liberal, atheist, I see the story for what it is: a very sad love story in which two people who love each other can't be together, mainly because of the society in which they live in.
  
  I saw a 2006 movie, so next up is "No Country for Old Men"
