Movies I'm Watching
by ILoveTTATT2 ini have, for about 6 months now, been trying to watch every single movie that was "cool" or interesting since 1960.it started out with a desire to watch as an adult all disney movies.
then it morphed into all bond movies (except for the non-canonicals).now it's turned into pretty much any and all movies.
here is my list, scratched out are ones i have seen, green are recent next-in line.turns out there was a lot i had never seen before, about 70% because of the cult restrictions!

Twilight - boring
Black Swan - cool
Elysium - cool, I couldn't but think of the current US immigration situation
Birdman - whaaaa? Why was this movie so acclaimed? Honestly, the Oscars tend to give attention to movies about movies or about plays.
Clockwork Orange - cool, but overrated
Next, I am watching whatever is available on Netflix... so... will jump some years. -

People, JW´s are 0.1% of the world population. Outside of JW´s and exJW´s and maybe a few other people, no one, no one, gives a flying f$ck about JW´s and their theology. People hear "you will die at armageddon" and they understand "you will burn in hell". People hear "you won´t be able to enter paradise" and they understand "you won´t enter heaven".
Not too difficult to see that happening. We´ve seen it over and over again how 99% of all media reports on JW´s have one or more inaccuracies like that.
But almost no one cares, nor would I expect them to! -

The Bible Texts Watchtower has never commented on
by ILoveTTATT2 inthe watchtower library is a great tool to learn more about the watchtower itself.
for example, answering the question "does the word "organization" ever appear in the bible"?
is easy to answer using it.

You are correct, Doubtful. The way to know is if the numbers are blacked out, that means there is no comment at all in any of the two indexes (which means, from circa 1930 to 2015, THEY HAVE NEVER COMMENTED ON THAT SCRIPTURE!!)
So much for "studying the Bible"... -

WT doesn't say a lot about Luke 21 v 8.
At least it says something about it! -

The Watchtower Library is a great tool to learn more about the Watchtower itself. For example, answering the question "Does the word "organization" ever appear in the Bible"? is easy to answer using it. We see that the answer is no, at least in the way the Watchtower uses the word.
If you actually count them, they're 36 cities.
I have been reading the Bible again but doing so with a critical eye. I have found tons of contradictions in it, and I have been shocked at how the Watchtower goes as far as changing the Bible text to avoid some contradictions.
Anyways, it is interesting to note the Scriptures for which the Watchtower has NOT commented on. You'd think that after 140 years of "studying" the Bible, that there would be a comment for literally every single Bible text.
But no.
For example, in (Joshua 15:21-32):
21 And the cities at the extremity of the tribe of the sons of Judah toward the boundary of E′dom in the south came to be Kab′ze·el and E′der and Ja′gur, 22 and Ki′nah and Di·mo′nah and A·da′dah, 23 and Ke′desh and Ha′zor and Ith′nan, 24 Ziph and Te′lem and Be·a′loth, 25 and Ha′zor-ha·dat′tah and Ke′ri·oth-hez′ron, that is to say, Ha′zor, 26 A′mam and She′ma and Mo·la′dah, 27 and Ha′zar-gad′dah and Hesh′mon and Beth-pel′et, 28 and Ha′zar-shu′al and Be′er-she′ba and Biz·i·o·thi′ah, 29 Ba′al·ah and I′im and E′zem, 30 and El·to′lad and Che′sil and Hor′mah, 31 and Zik′lag and Mad·man′nah and San·san′nah, 32 and Le·ba′oth and Shil′him and A′in and Rim′mon; all the cities being twenty-nine, together with their settlements.
This is an obscure Bible contradiction, but nonetheless, the Watchtower, in all those years, has only commented on verses 22 and 29, and even then, only in a little blurb in the Insight Book and/or the Aid for Bible Understanding book.
The rest of the verses have never had a comment from the WT.
Just wondering if someone could do a project showing all of the WT never-commented on texts? -

Have you been featured in a Watchtower publication or on jw.org?
by George One Time inmaybe you were considered a good example or a picture was needed.. can you give some background of the procedure?
how about the vetting?
if you cannot give away your identity, that is fine.

I know a whole family who has been in the paradise tract. But I don't know the process. All I know is that they told me that they grabbed an actual picture in which they appear, and they changed the dog for a lion, and they changed the boy's facial expression... he was sad. Needed him to be happy in paradise!!

I dislike about 90% of what he says and does.
I do agree with him on the principle of controlling illegal immigration, on the principle of reducing to a minimum the immigration of people who would like to implement Sharia Law in the US or anywhere in Western culture, and beating the shit out of ISIS.
Oh and I do like that he approved Keystone. Rejecting Keystone was obviously for political gain. That oil is being moved anyways... rail or pipeline!!
