RC 2017
by wifibandit indue to last years success, i will post everything related to the 2017 regional convention in this thread.. to start us off.... thanks to exjw reddit user ich3b we have advance notice of the theme (this is not a joke!).
the theme for the 2017 regional convention is: "don’t give up!” .
as always, if you have access to confidential materials you would like to leak but need to protect your identity, pm me or email me: wifibandit1 (at) gmail.

Mad I is correct that it isn't having expensive items that is necessarily wrong, but more the obsession and showy display. The conflict is, WT council is always to simplify, be modest and not put-on a showy display of ones means of life. That implies, even if a person can afford whatever they want, they are to be modest and discreet in their choices.

As Jesus did not have a place to lay his head, the GB members as 'Christ's Brothers' and the 'Faithful and Discreet Slave', should be setting an example in modesty. Even if it is a knock-off, it portrays the illusion of being expensive and is therefore, not simple, modest or discreet. -

call the spca on the witnesses.. in the convention they'll have various "musical videos" so that people actually sit down during the "musical interludes".... in one of the videos they show children with various animals... enjoying life now.. that... is a real, live fish... with a tattoo!!
it appears in one of the convention videos.... it involves the same process as tattooing a human... same amount of pain... but obviously can't get approval from them!.

I didn't actually mean to call the SPCA on the witnesses.
What I meant was, they messed up with using this stock video, it has unpalatable elements. What they wanted to show was children enjoying animals, nature... and they got stock video of children enjoying an animal that has possibly been tortured...Great job... NOT!
