i always felt sorry for the daughter who had to spend the rest of her days at the tabernacle because her father made a numb-nuts promise to god.

Oh and by the way I threw all the bible stories books in the trash when my kids were born and I have forbidden any of my witness relatives from letting my children look at it. That is the ultimate children's book of fail. Whoever's idea that was needs a swift kick or two in the nuts.

I think your all missing the point of the story... He made a vow to kill whoever came out first... He gets home there are two people there. The wife and the daughter... He's sad because the daughter came out!?

So he WANTED to kill his wife? Now that is a funny ass story!

Anybody remember a QFR on JW nurses tattling on blood transfusions?

i've looked on jwn (first) and watchtower library (second) and can't find a questions from readers that i thought i remembered from the 70s or 80s.

maybe it wasn't actually a qfr.

anyway, the gist of the question was, what does a conscientious jw nurse do when, in the course of her duties, she becomes aware of a fellow jw who is accepting a blood transfusion or getting an abortion.

I would LOVE to go to a hospital or clinic where a known witness worked just to get ratted out. I mean I could really use the couple hundred grand THAT lawsuit would get me! I mean it's sort of entrapment but they DO have the ability to keep their mouth shut.

Committee for Class action Lawsuit

currently i'm in the process of setting up a committee of about 5-10 people for the class action lawsuit.

this committee with be the decision makers for the group as a whole.

once i have this committee established i hope to move forward with our cause.. .

Ok and this was the statement to SUPPORT him in court by the psychologist!!!! The man was a pedo, if he had been just some creepy sick guy living under a bridge near the elementary school just because he wanted to be with the kids? But at one point he could sing so I guess it's ok? You people defending him need to think, what if the SAME evidence had been brought against an elder at the hall?
