Stop Putting Apostate Stickers On My Literature! They "Cost Lots of Money!"
by AuntConnie in"true story" the circuit overseer came to our kingdom hall and read us the riot act (local needs style) "magazines of this quality are not free, they cost money and we are not generating enough donations to defray the cost of the magazines(or running the top of the line printing presses) i get my ass out of bed to place literature in the laundray cleaning, coin opperated shops and some asshole puts his apostate stickers on our magazines.
do you know how hard it is to get up at 6:00 am and how expensive those magazines are costing the organization to print?
please stop defiling our literature, i dont post hateful stickers on your website so please leave my magazines alone.

I was 55 when I got my first bike. It was a Harley dresser with every bell and whistle you could imagine. That was in 2002. A year and a half later I was in the trauma unit of Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh because an 86 year old driver went through a stop sign and broadsided me 3 blocks from my home (where I was heading after a 4 hour ride) and totalled the thing.
At least I'm still here. Never been on another one since.

Can lack of affection and sex contribute to or even cause depression?
by Most Noble indo you think lack of affection and sex could drive some1 into deppression?..
.
personal experiences will be highly apreciated, if any..

Of course. It happend to me when my late wife didn't want any physical contact for years.
At least I remained faithful until her death even though it was tough.
Try lasting 5 years plus without affection and see what kind of depression and "other" thoughts do to you when you think you want to be faithful to your spouse and Jehovah.
Now I don't have to be faithful to anyone but myself.

untitled
by Terry inniight has fallen at the beth sarim mansion.. president joseph franklin rutherford (the "judge") sits calmly sipping whisky from a flask on the edge of his silk sheets at bedtime.
he sets the glass on the night stand.
he begins cleaning his nickel-plated pistol to high gleam.

Terry,
This is priceless. You should be making money with your writings.

Anyone else like to sew??? What kind of Machine do you use???
by ohiocowboy ini'm ready to get my sewing machines out of hiding, and will be sewing once again this winter.
i'd like to start quilting again, as it is fun to do, eases stress, and is healthier than just sitting in front of the tv.
i have even designed a few items of clothing in the past that i have sold, although i am by no means another madeleine vionet or issey miyake-lol.. i've always liked sewing machines even as a child (much to the dismay of my parents-lol), and there are a couple favorites that i have had for many years.

Cowboy.......I envy you.
My late wife spent every hour she could at her sewing machine. My daughter had every latest fashion dress, blouse and pants that everyone envied. My wife had beautiful dresses and I even had some neckties that were nicer than the expensive CEO type. I had some beautiful shirts that I helped pick out the material for and had a few vests that made up my three piece suit for the KH. She also had a surger.
When she died, I donated everything to a school for the performing arts in her and my daughter's name. My daughter had no interest or time in learning to sew.
Now....16 years plus.....I wish I would have learned to at least use the sewing machine to hem some of my "stuff". Even my daughter said the same thing.
I wish you success in your quilting and whatever else you do with your equipment.
