  hey all.. just saw this video about the upcoming protest at warwick on november 5th.

  it looks like some momentum is building up to it.

  but what i really want to know is will it have much impact?

  Any protests against the WT is a waste of time. Nothing anyone does will matter at all. Been there....done that. Get on with your life and be happy.

  I'm not one to post much because I can't get the thoughts in my brain to my fingers to type, but I come to this forum at least 5 times a day to see what is going on. I kind of miss the ones who were here 10 to 13 years ago when I first signed in. People come and people go and it makes you wonder what happened and where are they in their life at this time. One in particular is Little Toe. He just disappeared like so many others. Myself..........I have totally mellowed out from what I was back then. It has taken years but now the JW think is mostly gone from my head.

  side by side, on the grocery store magazine display, i saw two celebrity magazines with cover stories about scientology.

  i purchased both.

  i find it interesting, how similar this "church" is to the organization of the watchtower.. i thought i'd share some of the interesting quotes from the articles, which are both mostly about leah remini's new book, troublemaker: surviving hollywood and scientology.

  I've been keeping up with Leah Remini from the beginning of her TV program. Since L. Ron Hubbard started all of this back in the early 1950's, I can't help think that he took JW doctrine and beliefs and twisted a lot of it to fashion his own religious cult.

  Has anyone else noticed the similarities?

  Being from Pittsburgh originally, our conventions were in Cleveland at the Convocation Center. That was 20 years ago. Is the same place used or is there another venue now? We used to stay at a motel in Westlake.

  I got a new visit by an elder and an ms .

  the conversation soon got to spiritual subjects, this elder is company man all through and side kick well he's learning the ropes.

  bang mentioned snake antivenin, blood factions, then big geoffrey jackson saying presumptuous, then vin toole in the arc saying he had never heard of theocratic warfare.

  then told how god made exceptions to the rules on blood when soldiers ate unbled meat.
