town of fishkill, new york, u.s.a., gives approval for new support center of jehovah’s witnesses (jw.org).
on october 27, 2023, site plan approval was granted for new construction at the bethel facilities in the town of fishkill, new york, u.s.a. this approval from the town planning board means that work on the new fishkill support center of jehovah’s witnesses can begin immediately.

Where is Tony?
by Athanasius inon february 22, 2023, anthony morris iii was officially removed from the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.
a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.
in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.

Retirement
by jehovaxx inthe difference is now blatantly obvious, older ones who went against direction of the gb and planned for retirement have relatively more comfortable lives.. those who trusted and followed gb direction never got further education or training, pioneered or spent most of their lives knocking on doors for free, making just enough to get by in a part time job.. if you followed direction from the gb then you thought the end was just around the corner so no need to plan for retirement.. now these ones have indeed got old which they were given the impression they never would.
they are a burden on others.
the state has to pay for them in their old age.

Sure glad I never listened to them to quit my job and take on something lesser to knock on doors more often. Here I am at age 76 with a decent pension and Social Security after spending 30 years in a steel mill. Been on pension since 2003 at age 56. Even after that, I worked part time jobs until I was 71. Am I comfortable? I sure as hell am.

I resigned. I just wrote a note saying that of this (certain date), "I Happydad no longer wish to be an elder." Then handed it to the PO. They tried to discourage me from doing it, but there was no way I would continue as an elder after seeing what actually went on. That was about 1990 or 91. Can't even remember any longer.

Even if Morris would become anti JW, I think he would keep it a secret and stay silent. In that deed to the house, he and his wife have lifetime occupancy and I would think this is only as long as they remain faithful. Unless he has another place to go to, he will keep his mouth shut about the workings of the WT.

I remember going to Laurel in 1975 or 1976. My daughter who was 5 years old at the time loved seeing the horses in the morning before the sessions. It was at Laurel that we went to a Chinese Restaurant for the first time and where my car was broken into at the motel parking lot.
